LILLY: It had been ages since I thought about the day I lost my mate It still hurts, but it’s because of the kids that I kept going. “Alright Kes, we’ll get the bags added, but this time you are going to start at the end and run it in reverse. So go get climbing that last high pole, while the princes‘ and Stephen get the bags added.“ell her. “Yes Nana.” I watch as she jumps the poles to the last one, and balances there until the princes and Stephen get the bags and swinging. Once that was done, I call “GO.” And I time her. Making her run it in reverse forces her to have to climb the ropes on at least one end of the balance beam and makes her have to run the whole length of the beam, instead of her usual cutting it half. But even with the change up, she beat her old time by 45 seconds. “Anyone else want to run it?” I asked the group as a whole. They all took turns on it.
DRAKE: I was on the stairs heading down, just to take a break from the paperwork that seemed to never end lately, when I caught movement in Lilly’s backyard, which reminded me that I was going to get a course to incorporate into the training. I linked Mitchell “Mitch, we need to get an obstacle course set up and start training with it as soon as we can get it here.” “I will start researching which ones have the best ratings, and also maybe get ideas and we can build our own, that will save some money, especially after the ball, I know the finances took a hit.” “Yes, they have, good idea. ADRIAN: I was concerned about grandfather, so I went to check on him as I passed the stairs. I noticed movement in the distance and realized that I was looking at Lilly’s back yard, it reminded me that I wanted to incorporate an obstacle course in our training, so as I continue on to grandfather’s room, I called my Beta. The phone rang twice, and he picked up. “Yes Alpha?” “Heath, I want you to research obstacle courses and find us a good one, or things that we can make ourselves, I want the fighters working on it the minute we get it and get it up.” “Yes Alpha.” “Thanks.” And I hang up. and knock on grandfather’s door. “Come.” I had to use my wolf’s hearing to catch it, it was so weak. Grandfather was laying in the bed, he seemed so fragile; my heart went out to him. I know Amanda deserved everything that happened to her, but he didn’t. I just hope that his wolf will survive this. “Grandpa, how are you?” “I will be fine Adrian, it hurts, but it’s still fresh.” “I am sorry that you have to suffer because of what she did, I wish that I could figure something out so that you wouldn’t have to suffer so much.” I tell him. Don’t worry, I plan on being here to see my great grandchild born.” He says. “Kina sends her love, she will be by a little later, the pup is being a bit restless for her.” I tell him. “Just like you were for your mom.” He chuckles. I smile back at him. “Is there anything I can get you, food, tea, something stronger?” He chuckles again, “I am good, go be with your mate.” He says. I nod and leave him rest.
