Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 109 Malicious Allegations
Tyler went on to play five rounds with Alyssa’s account, and they won a victory streak that attracted quite a following.
It wasn’t just about winning: was Tyler’s
́s gameplay and his ability to anticipate when and where the enemy would strike. To any onlooker, the precision of his moves seemed almost supernatural.
If Alyssa hadn’t been watching it with her own eyes, she might have thought there was some cheating involved – his plays were that of a champion’s.
By the time they wrapped up, it was already midnight. Alyssa’s eyes latched onto the virtual gifts piling up on the screen, and she nearly leaped off her chair with excitement.
“Oh my God, Reese, you are on fire! Did you see the spike in my followers? They ve skyrocketed–over 2,000 new followers in just one night, and so many donations too. I did the math, and it’s over twenty thousand dollars. I’m splitting it with you, okay?”
Alyssa was the generous sort and, knowing full well she might need Reese’s help again, felt it was wise to foster a good rapport
There’s an old saying: “Owe a favor, lose your leverage.” If Reese took her money, Alyssa could always share half of her future gift earnings. Fair’s fair.
While Alyssa was buzzing with excitement, Reese just felt like the game was a buzzkill. Playing against these folks was like battling Al–po challenge whatsoever.
If it weren’t for the fact that Malcolm probably hadn’t hit the sack yes, and likely wouldn’t for a while, Reese could have wrapped this up in fifteen minutes, not hours.
She stood up and dusted off her clothes, smoothing out the wrinkles.
“Just keep the money for the gifts”
Alyssa thought Reese was just being polite. After all, she hadn’t seen much of the big city life, nor adorned herself in fancy clothes She noted Reese’s phone was a basic model from a couple of years back.
“No way, I can’t accept that,” Alyssa insisted quickly, “You’ve done me a huge solid. I may not be much, but I stand by my friends. You’ve got to take this, or else…
Reese lifted an eyebrow curiously
Or else what? You’ll stop letting me help with your live streams?”
“No, no, it’s not like that at all,” Alyssa backpedaled. “I just don’t ware to feel like I’m taking advantage of you. Plus, with that mones, you could treat yourself, maybe get a new phone. I know you might feel uneasy about accepting the cash, especially since you’ve probably never handled this much money at once. But don’t worry, whatever I make, I’ll share. Besides, with your job at Malcolms firm, you’ll be making a decent monthly income.”
Alyssa had it all figured out for Reese, even how to spend the money
But to Reese, ten grand was a drop in the bucket. Alyssa’s words might have been a bit blunt, but her heart was in the right place.
Had it been Everly, Reese would have sent her packing without a clue up or down.
Reese simply yawned and ignored the comm
“I gotta hit the hay, super tired and works calling tomorrow.

With that, she got up, opened the door, and left.
Alyssa Jussiled after her, calling out, Reese, I’ll wire the cash to your account?”
Reese gave a nonchalant wave and continued on
Watching Reese disappear into her room, Alyssa couldn’t help but mitter, Acting all high and mighty when you’re just as brake. I swear, if it were me, I’d not only take it but ask for more.”
Reese was an enigma. Despite her ‘menger income, she exuded an airs if she wanted for nothing, seemingly untouchable by the world’s mundane troubles.
She let out a sigh of resignation before heading back to her run to deep.
After tidying up, Reese collapsed onto her bed and was fast asleep within minutes, exhaustion taking over.
The next morning, she stumbled into the office, yawning Incessantly, clearly not having had enough sleep.
She had barely stepped onto the first stair when someone grabbed her wrist. With a frown, she spun around and twisted the offender’s wilst sharply.
A yelp of pain pierced the air. “Ah… it hurts, it hurts so much!”
It was then that Reese saw clearly who it was. To her astonishment, was Susan, who should have been long gone from the
company.
“What are you doing here?” Reese asked, genuinely surprised.
Susan clutched her wrist, wincing, and snorted coldly. “Why can’t I you. Look at what you’ve gotten me into. Those thugs you sent after
here, Reese? I came here specifically to settle the score with mo–do you have any idea what they’ve done?”
Susan’s outery drew the attention of co–workers arriving for the day they circled around, eager for the drama unfolding.
Whispers edged through the growing crowd.
“Isn’t that Reese, the new girl?”
“Who’s Reese?”
very first
“You don’t know Reese? She’s the talk of the office–bypassed a formal interview and got hired on the spot. And on her very day, she took down the office bully, Isaac. That guy’s a plant; no regular Joe could handle him.”
Their eyes were wide with disbelief.
“You’re telling me that Isaac got beaten by her? No wonder we haven’t heard from him lately. Someone’s taken his place.”
“And what about Susan? I heard she quit already.”
“Guess who might be responsible for that?”
“It couldn’t possibly be because of the new hire, right?”
“Exactly. But Susan’s left. I don’t know when they started to have bad blood, but just look at how patheti
an looks.”
Susan, seemingly determined to burn every bridge, was there to confront Reese, to get some fogin of justice,

She couldn’t let her humiliation go unanswered, or else how could she face her future?
As the onlookers multiplied, Susan pointed at Reese and poured outer grievances.
“Look at her, everyone! This woman–Reese–is the reason I lost my job, and not satisfied with that, she sent goons after me. I ended up hospitalized for days. The doctor says I can never bear children. I’ve been stripped of my right to motherhood, all thanks
to her!”
Listening to Susan’s words, Reese couldn’t help but furrow her brow Moments ago, her face was covered with anger, now it was like a frost had settled over her expression.
“Susan, you’re accusing me of bullying you, but why don’t you tell them what you’ve had these people do?” Reese retorted with a
frown.
Susan held her head high, with an air of arrogance.
“I just wanted them to teach you a lesson, I didn’t let them go too far. And you, you actually paid them off to insult me. Do you realize a woman’s reputation is her most valuable asset? Reese, I would have never guessed, you keep silent on the surface, but deep down you’re heartless. We’re both women, and yet you could harm me so severely. Aren’t you afraid of karma?
Reese was never one to fear slander. She believed in her integrity, and the opinions of others never mattered much to her.
She didn’t even know how long she had left in this life, so why both about what others did?
But there was something about Susan’s biting tone that she just couldn’t swallow.
