Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 169 A Dog’s Bite
In a swift move, Justin slammed the partition shut, hoping to avoid Mr. Flynn’s wrath later. Yet, he couldn’t help but dwell on Reese’s audacious maneuver earlier. It was positively electrifying.
Mr. Flynn had always been the one pulling the strings. Who would have guessed he’d be outmaneuvered by a woman?
Reese was certainly bringing her A–game!
Her kiss hadn’t been an invitation for a countermove, particularly with the stifling confinement of the car making it difficult to breathe. Despite her efforts to push Malcolm away, he remained steadfast, his warmth discernible even through the layers of clothing.
Her heart, barely calm, began to race erratically–what was happening? She wasn’t one to lose her cool like this, but a single provocation from him, and she was on the brink of losing control.
Reese feared she had fallen for his striking appearance: Malcolm’s good looks were notable, every gesture emanating an aristocratic allure, his aura undeniably regal
This did suit her preferences, but after witnessing her mother’s fate, she was hesitant to fall into a similar snare.
Suddenly, a surge of determination filled Reese’s eyes. Malcolm tasted the metallic tang of blood as she bit him, inflicting pain and forcing him to release her.
Touching his lip, Malcolm’s movement was disarmingly seductive. “Darling, did you just bite me?”
“Deserved it…” Reese retorted without remorse.
“But didn’t you just kiss me?
“You didn’t exactly resist.”
Malcolm’s response was composed and measured. He didn’t hold anything against his wife. Her words were always right. He felt privileged to be at her mercy.
Justin pulled up to the Flynn residence, a hive of activity in anticipation of Grandpa Flynn’s birthday celebration. It was Reese’s first time witnessing such a gathering. It brought back memories of her um grandmother, who had few visitors even on her deathbed.
Malcolm handed Justin a bag and approached Reese, extending his arm. Reese looked at him skeptically.
“What’s this about?” she questioned,
“Link arms with your husband. Do you want people to think we’ve grown apart?” Malcolm teased.
Reese
shrugged dismissively. “I couldn’t care less what they think.”

“Such a hassle,” Reese grumbled, although she slipped her arm through his. Malcolm’s eyes crinkled in a touch of satisfaction as he guided her inside.
The living room was teeming with guests, and Grandpa Flynn sat really, soaking up the well–wishes. Everly and Vincent were preoccupied with greeting family, while Alyssu, spotting Reese, rushed over with a radiant smile.

“Reese, bro, hack already?” Alyssa chirped.
Reese nodded, “Yeah.
Alyssa scrutinized Reese and Malcolm’s lips. “What’s up with your Lis? Get bitten by something?”
Reese responded with irritated sarcasm, “Bitten by a dog.
Malcolm chuckled, “I was bitten by a cat a feisty little stray. I stubborn.” He shot Reese a playful, meaningful glance.

Are you losing brain cells to video games or what?” Everly blurted out to her.
It was so obvious; they hadn’t been bitten but had clearly been caught up in passionate kisses.
Reese had the audacity to claim she had no romantic interest in Malcolm–what a cunning woman she was.
Annoyed, Alyssa shot Everly a glare. “Why are you so hostile towards me lately? It’s not like I’ve done anything to you!”
Everly scoffed, “Why do you insist on being a lackey for someone?”
Alyssa squared her shoulders and retorted.
“Get it straight, Everly. Reese is married to our brother now, which makes her part of our family.“.
“Part of our family? Are you kidding me? What status does she have what kind of background does she come from to sit at the same table as us? If it wasn’t for the grandfather smoothing things over between our families, you think she’d ever have a shot at joining the Flynns? She wouldn’t even get her foot in the door.”
Everly’s distaste for Reese only intensified as she observed her–sly as a fox, always scheming to ensnare Malcolm.
Reese wore a look of contempt, too indifferent even to glance Everly’s way,
“I may not come from much, and I don’t flaunt my status, but guess what, I married your precious Malcolm and I’m sitting in a position you couldn’t even dream of. Jealous much?”
Reese’s blunt words twisted Everly’s features into a snarling grimace her trembling finger pointing at her..
But before Everly could finish her tirade, Reese snatched her finger, wisted her wrist with a sharp snap, followed by Everly’s
piercing scream.
“Ah… Reese, you lunatic! Let go, it hurts like hell”
With a mocking laugh, Reese released her. “Since you know I’m crazy, you better not mess with me. I won’t go because you’re a Flynn. Your little heiress act is useless on me!”

Bro, she’s going wild. Aren’t you going to do something?
“Looks like I need to take care of you first. How could you be so rude to Reese in front of all these guests?”
How could Malcolm side with Everly? Of course, he’d defend his wife; even he wouldn’t reprimand her, much less allow others to

He swiftly escorted Everly outside while Alyssa couldn’t help but feel a touch of spiteful satisfaction.

Alyssa’s eyes widened in disbelief. ‘No way, Reese, are you getting cold feet?”
“Do I look like someone who gets cold feet? Just make sure you consule Grandpa Flynn later, I’m worried he might blow a gasket with his blood pressure.”
Alyssa nodded thoughtfully. “You have a point. Our relatives can be quite a pain. I usually don’t dare talk back to them; Grandpa. would scold me. But you, you’re the black sheep of the family, and the one person Grandpa can’t seem to handle.”
