He smoothly disengaged his arm, “I’m not upset. There are just some matters I need to attend to the office. You all continue chatting, I’ll take my leave. With a nod to Nancy, Saya turned and exited the room.
Dahlia’s hand hung in midair, and the softness in her expression disappeared instantly. Her hands clenched into fists, her long nails digging into her palms without feeling any pain.
As soon as Silva’s figure disappeared through the door, Dahlia’s suppressed dissatisfaction and rage exploded. “That Silva, how dare he show his displeasure in my presence? Who does he think he is? It weren’t for Malcolm marrying Reese, I wouldn’t even give him a second look.”
Nancy advised Dahlia, “Your focus should no longer be on Silva. You need to figure out how to separate Malcolm and Reese, Malcolm’s leg has healed, and whether or not he can fulfill all your desires is irrelevant. As long as he doesn’t publicly humiliate you, that’s all that matters.”
Dahlia redirected her attention, “So, what’s your plan?”
Nancy had already formulated a strategy. Leaning closer, she whispered her plan into Dahlia’s ear.
A glint of joy flashed across Dahlia’s face. “Mom, that’s absolutely brilliant”
“If you think it’ll work, I can set things in motion immediately, Public opinion can be devastating, especially when their relationship is already on shaky ground. Striking now will yield the best results.”
“Do it,” Dahlia urged, already savoring the thought of Reese’s impending reaction. “I can’t wait to witness the drama untold.”
The following day, Reese drove to work, Malcolm had been inundated with work for the past few days, likely due to a new company project. Their last project had suffered since Reese had leaked it, and although Malcolm hadn’t said anything, it undoubtedly imparted the company.
Reese had just settled in when Lilly came by to assign her tasks. However, before she could finish, Sophia approached excitedly.
“Reese, Reese, there’s a hot guy looking for you outside.”
“A hot guy?” The first faces that came to Reese’s mind were Calvin and Jason. But she quickly dismissed the thought. Calvin wouldn’t come to her workplace, and Jason had left the area long ago. Whs could it be?

If you’re jealous, you could step up your own game instead of picking on me. But…” she trailed off, giving Lilly a once–over, her smirk widening. “the problem is, even if you dressed up, I doubt anyone would take notice. Now, that would be really embarrassing.”
Turning on her heel, Reese brushed past Lilly and nodded to Sophia, Let’s go outside, take a look around.”
She was curious as to who would make such a fuss, not realizing she was a married woman now. Besides, she hadn’t been out much lately, so the idea of her knowing some rich playboy with a sports car was absurd. But at the mere thought of supercars, a specific individual came to mind, and her usually cool eyes narrowed with a dangerous glint. If it turned out to be him, she wouldn’t let him off easily.
Stepping out of the company’s lobby, Reese’s suspicion was confirmed upon spotting Silva, the epitome of nonchalance, leaning against the shiny car, sunglasses in place.
A cunning smile played on her lips as she approached him. “Mr. Mons, if you’re looking for a girlfriend, I think you’ve got the wrong place. This is the Flynn Group, not the Brooks Corporation.”
The sight of Reese made Silva’s handsome face light up with a smiles he took off his glasses. “I’m not looking for Dahlia, I’m looking for you.”
“Oh, looking for me? Let me guess, you didn’t get enough of a washout yesterday, so you’re back for more?” Reese dredged up the past, eager to see just how shameless this silver spoon really was.
The smile faltered on Silva’s face when yesterday’s incident was brought up, but he was quick to recover, his thick skin showing. “Yesterday’s events, that was all a misunderstanding. I can explain those were your sister’s ideas, not mine. I was just playing along
Reese raised her hand, cutting him off. “Save the high and mighty excuses for someone else. Do me a favor and stop looking me up. If you don’t, my husband might get jealous, and let me tell you, he doesn’t take kindly to competition.”
Silva wore an expression of indifference, “So what? I heard from your folks that you’ve been married for a while and yet, it doesn’t seem like you ve consummated it. Are you guys having issues or something?”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Reese’s gaze hardened, sharp ara blade, shooting daggers at–Silva, Moments before, his face was smug with satisfaction; now it recoiled in fear. He subconsciously took several steps back under the icy threat of Reese’s eyes.
Her look was terrifying, a fear that seemed to well up from the very depths of his being. Silva could feel his heart pounding faster.
Reeses piercing gaze transformed her usually delicate features into mask of frost that captivated and commanded attention. “Imm telling you, if you bad mouth my husband one more time, you’ll end up speechless just like Dahlia,” she threatened,
