Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 33 Bankrupt Him–1
Reese spun around, her gut telling her something was up. Sure enough, there was justin, wheeling Malcolm into the room. Malcolm had that kind of look that made people stop and stare–sharp features, a natural swagger, and eyes that could cut through steel.
Mack felt a shiver run down his spine. Malcolm wasn’t the kind of guy you messed with, and Mack had already screwed up a few times before. Was Malcolm really here for some low–level employee?
Mack thought, “No way. Malcolm has to be here to back me up.” Alter all, compared to some nobody employee, he was a business partner. Malcolm wouldn’t mix that up, right?
with
that thought, Mack put on his best “feel sorry for me face and Amped over to Malcolm.
“Mr. Flynn, you gotta help me out here. Your employee’s got a serious attitude problem, and she even tried to hurt me. Just look at these bruises.”
Mack made a big show of pointing out the marks on his arm.
Malcolm didn’t even blink. His face was a stone wall, giving nothing away.
Reese stood off to the side, arms crossed, shooting daggers at Mack, Seriously, a grown man lying like that? What a piece of work. She couldn’t wrap her head around how someone like him ended up in charge.
Honestly, it didn’t matter if Malcolm showed up or not. Reese had plenty of tricks up her sleeve to handle this jerk. But Malcolm’s Intentions were a wild card. Mack was a business partner, and the contract was practically a done deal. If it were anyone else, the project would ve been signed, sealed, and delivered by now.
But Reese wasn’t about to put up with this nonsense. She’d already bent over backward to keep her cool, but everyone has their
breaking point.
Malcolm gave Reese a quick look, then turned his gaze to the bruised and battered Mack. His face was a mask, but his words cut deep.
“Reese wouldn’t throw the first punch. Mr. Woods must’ve done something to set her off.”
Mack narrowed his eyes. “So, you’re blaming me? Mr. Flynn, watch what you say. Without proof, don’t go throwing around
accusations.”
“If you want proof, we can just check the surveillance footage,” Malcolm said coolly, about to give Justin the go–ahead. But Mack jumped in, cutting him off
“No need for that, Mr. Flynn. It’s a minor issue. I didn’t fight back because she’s your employee and I wanted to save your reputation. But she hit me first, and that’s something we can’t just ignore.”
Malcolm’s expression hardened. “Justin, take Mr. Woods to the hospital for a full check–up. Make sure the doctors do a thorough examination and cover all the medical expenses upfront. Let’s make sure Mr. Woods is comfortable there.”
Reese couldn’t help but chuckle. This wasn’t helping Mack; it was a gear dig. Who in their right mind would want to stay in a hospital indefinitely? Even a perfectly healthy person would go nuts,
on his gaze real quick.
Mack
ock got the message loud and clear. He e shot a glare at Malcolm, but one icy look from Malcolm made him drop
Malcolm didn’t have time to waste on this clown. It’s handsome face was already showing signs of irritation, and his sharp eyes flicked over to Mark’s assistant.

“What are you waiting for? Get Mr. Woods to the hospital, now!” Malcolm barked.
The assistant, scared out of his wits by Malcolm’s glare, quickly helped Mack and hustled him out of there. They looked more like they were running for their lives than anything else.
Reese had to give it to her husband–he was a force to be reckoned with. Even stuck in a wheelchair, he commanded the room. She couldn’t help but wonder just how unstoppable he’d be once he was back on his feet.
She shrank back a bit, thinking maybe she should be a little more cooperative with him. Not that she was scared of him, but stirring the pot wasn’t exactly on her to–do list.
The hall fell silent again. Malcolm rolled over to Reese, one eyebrow raised.
You’ve got some guts, ticking off a company client, Malcolm said, his tone sharp.
Reese shot back. “He harassed me first,”
Then, without missing a beat, she darted to Malcolm’s side, wrapping her arm around his. She didn’t care who was watching and gave him her best puppy–dog eyes.

“I had no choice but to defend myself. If I let him get away with it
it, wouldn’t that tarnish your reputation too? I was fighting for your dignity and honor.”
Justin stood off to the side, completely floored by what he was seeing. Reese was something else she could throw down better than
most guys, and her smooth talking had Malcolm eating out of her hand. If she were just a bit more stunning, he couldn’t even imagine the chaos, How had he never noticed Malcolm was such a sotie for her?
Malcolm gave her a quick look, his voice cool. “You sure
sure know i
how to spin it. Go on, get back.”
“Okay,” Reese chirped, all smiles, Seeing Justin about to push Malcolm, she jumped in, “111 handle it.”
Reese wheeled Malcolm back to the office, and when their colleagues saw them, their jaws practically hit the floor. As soon as they got into the elevator, people started buzzing.
“Did 1 just see that? What’s going on? Reese actually pushed Mr. Flyrn back.”
“How would I know? Wasn’t Reese just brawling with Mr. Woods at the hotel across the street?”
“Wait, she fought with Mr. Woods, that big guy?”
“But she doesn’t look hurt at all.”
“No clue.
“And Mr. Flynn didn’t seem mad at all.”
Everyone was buzzing with curiosity about this new employee. She’d just started and already tangled with Isaac, who everyone avoided, and had a spat with Everly. She strutted out of the office like she owned the place, not like she was there to work. Everly sent her to get Mack to sign a contract, and not only did she fail, she ended up decking him.
“What the heck is going on?”
Reese’s actions left everyone scratching their heads.
As the elevator numbers climbed, Reese thought about the weird looks from everyone earlier.
“Mr. Flynn, maybe… you should give me a symbolic scolding later. Otherwise, the employees might think there’s something fishy going on between us.”
Malcolm scoffed, “You’ve got the guts to hit a business partner, and now you’re worried about office gossip?”
Reese gave an awkward smile. “I’m just trying to avoid causing you more trouble.”
“Haven’t you already caused enough?” Malcolm replied, though his tone was more resigned than angry.
Even Justin couldn’t resist chiming in. “Mrs. Flynn, you’re the first
And get away with it, he thought but didn’t say.
Reese felt a bit sheepishi. ‘T’ll be more careful next time.”
Malcolm chuckled, “You think there will be a next time?”

“No, there won’t be a next time. As long as Everly doesn’t give me those kinds of tasks, I promise. But if someone really bullies me, would you just stand by and watch your wife get pushed around?”
Her eyes were a mix of innocence and hurt, making Malcolm think he might look even better without those glasses.
Just then, the elevator doors opened. Seeing that Malcolm didn’t respond, Reese let it go and pushed him out.
Back in the office, Reese felt like
e she had wrapped up her tasks for the day.
I’ll head out now. Call me if you need anything.”
Vincent is coming back tomorrow. He’s not an ordinary person. Be careful and don’t fall for his tricks,” Malcolm advised, watching
Reese knew about Vincent, Malcolm’s brother who had been abroad for years and rarely came home. She had no idea why he was
returning this time.
But Reese wasn’t one to be intimidated. As long as Vincent didn’t mess with her, they’d be fine.
She appreciated Malcolms concern. “Got it. Besides, 1 have you, right? He wouldn’t dare do anything to me.”
Malcolm lowered his head, a faint smile spreading across his face. “True enough.”
Justin, watching the intimate exchange between the two, couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.
Once the office door closed again, Malcolm’s previously gentle face turned icy cold, his voice carrying a chilling edge.
Justin, find out all the companies under Mack’s name. By tomorrow morning. I want to hear that he’s bankrupt.”
Anyone who dared to mess
with M
Malcolm’s wife would face the same consequence.
