Chapter 337 Turning the Tables
Reese, tinafraid to reveal her ulterior motives, calmly posed a question to Vincent. “If you were in my position, would you not have a contingency plan in place?”
Vincent responded without hesitation, “Indeed.” Any individual with shred of intelligence would always ensure they had an escape
route.
Reese responded with a soft chuckle. This was precisely what she had anticipated. She was acutely aware that her presence was not welcomed by the Flynn family. With Everly painting an unflattering picture of her to Finn, who already harbored a dislike for her, it seemed they could not wait for her to pack her bags and leave.
However, the welfare of the Flynn family was of utmost importance
him. If she were to depart, the media would catch wind of it
and spin a sensational, tragic tale. This would only serve to further complicate the situation for the Flynn family.
Yet, Finn was not pleased with her smooth integration into the Flynn family.
Upon hearing Vincent’s agreement with Reese, Everly was filled with such rage she almost marched over to slap him. “Vincent, have you lost your mind? How can you support her?”
“Enough!” Finn, after careful consideration of the situation, decided to prioritize the interests of the company. He turned to Reese, “Do you have a plan to compensate for the company’s losses?”
Reese nodded solemnly, “I do.”
“And what if you fail?” Finn felt the need to assess Reese’s capabilities. Despite being the head of Emerald Isle, it did not guarantee her ability to salvage the situation. Once he gave his word, it would be difficult to retract. He had no desire to be manipulated by the young woman again. In such a scenario, he would likely become the laughingstock of the town.
Reese, her eyebrows arched in defiance, responded, “If I fail, I will willingly divorce Malcolm and leave the Flynn family. However…” She paused deliberately, shooting a pointed look at a visibly anxious Everly. “If I fail, I expect Grandpa to handle things impartially.*
Finn found himself intrigued by Reese’s proposition. He found himself agreeing, “Very well. As long as you can compensate for the loss, Everly will apologize to you and she will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Flynn family estate for an additional month. Is that agreeable?”
Reese’s eyes sparkled with triumph as she received the response she had hoped for. “Deal!”
Without seeking Everly’s consent, Finn and Reese had reached an agreement. Everly cried out in protest, “Grandpa…”
“Silence!” Finn’s focus was solely on Reese. He was eager to see what strategy Reese had up her sleeve to recover the losses of the Flynn Group. Surely, she wasn’t foolish enough to use her own wealth to resolve the issue. Although that was a viable solution, it was not a necessity.
Reese, reading Finn’s thoughts from his expression, queried, “Does Grandpa believe I intend to use my personal funds to rectify
this?”
Finn scoffed, unconvinced. “Then what else can you do?”
“I plan to recover the Flynn Group’s stocks without spending a single penny.”
Reese’s declaration took Fin n by surprise.
Vincent, rubbing his chin, also found himself intrigued. Simultaneously, Malcolm arrived at the door, overhearing Reese’s bold claim.

Chapter 337 Turning the Tables
Justin was about to announce Malcolm’s arrival, but Malcolm signaled him to keep his silence.
Malcolm, arms crossed, leaned against the wall in silence, curious to see how Reese planned to reverse their fortunes.
Malcolm hadn’t intended to leave matters solely in Reese’s hands; he merely wished for Everly to learn a lesson. Ultimately, he had planned to step in and clean up the mess. He hadn’t anticipated Everly spilling the beans to Finn so quickly.
However, if Reese was willing to shoulder this responsibility and lighten his load, Malcolm was more than happy to let her.
Reese swiveled to face Vincent, her voice steady as she asked, “I didn’t bring my computer, can I use yours?”
Vincent, initially uninvolved in this predicament, hadn’t anticipated Reese’s involvement from the start. Yet, he found himself intrigued by the prospect of her salvaging a stock teetering on the brink of collapse. It was a feat not even Malcolm could achieve, requiring both time and a well–thought–out strategy. Yet, Reese had boldly made such a promise to their grandfather. The true extent of her capabilities would soon be revealed.
With a nod of acquiescence, Vincent rose from his chair, addressing Reese, “Okay, I’ll go now. Reese, wait a moment.”
As Vincent departed to retrieve the computer, Everly’s harsh words sliced through the silence. “Reese, don’t overpromise. If you fail to recover the stocks and they continue to plummet, you’ll bear the responsibility.”
Reese had little patience for incessant nagging, especially when she was focused on resolving a problem. Everly’s words grated on her nerves, sparking irritation.
She shot Everly a frosty glance, causing the latter to flinch and instinctively lower her gaze.
Reese, however, didn’t let Everly off the hook just because she was avoiding eye contact. She retorted, “Don’t worry, Everly. You won’t escape the repercussions this time.”
Everly’s eyes widened in disbelief, her protest cut short as Vincent returned with the laptop, handing it to Reese.
“Here,” he said, interrupting Everly’s unspoken objection.
“Thanks,” Reese muttered, avoiding Vincent’s gaze as she accepted the laptop.
Vincent resumed his seat while Reese powered up the laptop, logging onto an unfamiliar website. Everly watched in stunned silence
as Reese infiltrated the company’s internal network, her face draining of color.
“How… how did she get in?” Everly stammered, her eyes glued to the computer screen.
Had Malcolm given Reese the password? But Everly hadn’t seen Reese enter any password. How had she gained access?
Everly wasn’t ignorant, but she was struggling to believe what she was witnessing,
Vincent, however, was more perceptive. He watched as Reese brazenly hacked into the company’s internal website in front of the entire Flynn family, as nonchalant as a thief sauntering into a store without a hint of guilt.
Within minutes, the stocks miraculously rebounded. Everly could barely follow Reese’s swift actions, her fingers flying over the keyboard, inputting a series of cryptic symbols.
Ten minutes later, Reese hit the final shortcut key, announcing, “There, you can now check the Flynn Group’s stocks. See if they’ve been recovered?”
Everly and Vincent were the first to verify, with even Malcolm at the doorway taking a peek.
“The stocks have really been recovered. How did Reese do it?” Justin exclaimed, his voice echoing the disbelief that hung in the
