Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 41 Malcolm Takes First Place-
Reese felt surprised to hear Malcolm’s serious words. Usually, he was carefree, sometimes as cold as a statue, and it seemed like he didn’t value emotions much. She didn’t expect him to speak so seriously. The atmosphere became somewhat suppressed, and even Reese, who was usually sharp–tongued, didn’t know how to respond to Malcolm’s words.
Malcolm wasn’t surprised by Reeses lack of response. After all, they hadn’t spent much time together, and he didn’t want to force it.
Turning around, his enigmatic eyes were filled with curiosity as he watched her shine today. Especially in her gray–blue dress, which made her skin look flawless. He admitted that seeing her shine on stage today had stirred something in him. Interest and surprise. The intrigue and delight she brought him far exceeded his expectations.
However, he had one question, and he wanted to clear it up. “Let me ask you again, at the auction the other day, was that you I saw
from behind?”
Reese’s heart skipped a beat, but she replied very seriously, “You must have mistaken someone else for me. If I truly had the money
attend an auction, would I still be coerced by my father into marrying you?”
Her response made sense, which led Malcolm to question his observation. However, his suspicion still lingered.
Malcolm couldn’t find any counterargument, but even so, he couldn’t fully trust her again.
This girl had deceived him more than once; it was as if each revealed truth only uncovered another layer of decelt.
Malcolm also had his own plans. Regardless of her answer, he would have Justin investigate again. The people around him couldn’t be so unclear.
Under Malcolm’s scrutiny, Reese felt worried, afraid that he would ask something she couldn’t answer. This man was suspicious, and since her first day in his life, fustin had investigated her, almost digging up her childhood as well.
But she didn’t say any of this.
Fortunately, at this moment, Dahlia and Nancy walked over. Their expressions had shifted from displeasure to forced smiles, which seemed hypocritical.
However, Reese felt that their arrival relieved her urgent situation and gave her some time to think.

Malcolm only nodded lightly, without much response.
Dahlia’s enthusiasm seemed to not receive much response

She had been raised in the Brooks family since she was young, received a high–level education, and excelled in various arts a skills. Whereas Reyse was just a wild girl who thought she was a swan after wearing clothes designed by famous designers.
Little did she know, lowliness emanated from within.

Nancy took the initiative to greet Malcolm, “Malcolm, although we haven’t met before, now that Reese has married you, we are family. You should call my mother.”

Malcolm raised his eyelids, not saying a word, but it made Nancy pause. His gaze was cold and piercing, and a touch of strangeness flickered in his deep and dark eyes.
An invisible pressure enveloped Nancy and Dahlia, making it hard for them to breathe.
The atmosphere was awkward, and in the end, Dahlia came forward smooth things over.
“Mom, this is Mr. Flynn’s first meeting with you. Perhaps he is not very familiar. fleese just got married to Mr. Flynn, and their relationship is not particularly good.”
Reese replied sharply, “What makes you say that my darling and I have a bad relationship?”
Dahlia was taken aback, not expecting that in front of Malcolm, Reese wouldn’t be afraid that he would think she was too strong and lacked manners?

But what she didn’t know was that Reese never

pleased.
Nancy seemed to have eased off from Malcolm’s attitude just now and responded to her, “Reese, your sister is also concerned about you. Don’t be so harsh on her. She was polite, but it seemed like she was blaming Reese for it.
Dahlia followed Nancy’s words with a pitiful look, almost on the verge of tears, “Yeah sis! I just wanted to show my concern for you. I didn’t mean to speak ill of you in front of your husband, Why do you have so much hostility towards me?”
her Reese was truly enlightened. These two women had a special understanding between them. But even if Malcolm didn’t like because of this, Reese didn’t care at all. She wasn’t like them, willing to do anything to marry into a wealthy family. Reese was being true to herself, and if you liked her, then fine. If not, she didn’t mind. Besides, she could live without a man.
While Dahlia discreetly wiped her tears, she noticed a slight change in Malcolm’s expression. She was secretly delighted, thinking that Reese’s reaction had caught Malcolm’s attention. Indeed, who would like their wife behaving like a shrew outside? Just as crying children often get their way.
Just as she was about to witness Malcolm getting angry with Reese, te suddenly held her hand, and then sharp eyes were directed at

Reese was almost stunned. In that instant, she felt that Malcolm’s image had been elevated in her heart. Especially with his last sentence, Reese’s heart felt like it was about to burst. Could this be the feeling of falling in love?
Dahlia and Nancy, who were just gloating a moment ago, immediately froze. Before the two could react, Malcolm said, “Honey, let’s go back. It’s already getting late.”
Reese crisply responded, “Alright, darling. She pushed Malcolm past the dazed Dahlia and Nancy.
By the time the two regained their composure, Malcolm and Reese were long gone. Dahlia’s face twisted in an expression of deep resentment, her fingernails tightly gripping her dress. Her eyes were filled with a desire to devour.
Reese actually managed to make Malcolm defend her like that. Didn’t they say he has a weird temper and like
temper and likes to torment people?”
It was because of these rumors and gossip from the outside world that she chose not to marry Malcolm and let Reese be the sacrifice instead.

She didn’t mind her paralysis as long as the Flynn family was prosperous. If Malcolm could think of her in the future and give her a share of the family fortune, she wouldn’t have to worry about food and drink for the rest of her life.
At the moment, it seemed like Malcolm not only didn’t have a volatile temperament, but perhaps he also dotes on his wife.
Nancy was also surprised by how handsome Malcolm was, especially his features. They were sharp and distinct, and just sitting there, he seemed like a divine being.
But it’s a pity y that such a man is paralyzed.
