“Sir, I have finished preparing the soup.”
“Come in,” Reese’s voice came from inside.
Sandra placed the soup on
p on the bedside table, and Reese asked one more question.
“You’ve been guarding this soup, right?”
“Yes, no problem.”
“Then please leave for now.”
After Sandra left, Reese was about to bring the soup to Malcolm, but when she caught a smell of it, she hesitated. There was something off about the scent.
Malcolm noticed her unusual expression and asked, “Is there something wrong with the soup?”
Reese couldn’t be sure.
“In theory, there shouldn’t be anything wrong, but I just have this fooling that something’s not quite right. How is your relationship with Sandra?”
“She has been with the Flynn family for a long time and has always been good to me. I don’t think there should be a problem.”

Although she hadn’t used a single penny from the card Malcolm gave her, it was better to accept and let him feel at ease, rather than letting him know she didn’t need it and have him find other ways to give her money.
Malcolm took hold of her chin with his fingertips, a smile in his eyes “Can I offer myself as a reward?”

as a joke. She self–deprecatingly said, “I dare not let you sacrifice yourself. Your family has two sisters, and I can’t bear parting with them.”
As soon as this matter was mentioned, a commotion could be heard outside, and the room door was forcefully pushed open, accompanied by a strong gust of wind. Reese frowned, a hint of displeasure passing through her eyes.
The people who came were not only Everly and Alyssa, but also Grandpa Flynn and Vincent. Vincent had just landed and returned to the Flynn family, yet he hadn’t even had a chance to sit down before he heard Alyssa’s scream from the kitchen.
As soon as Everly entered the room, she saw Reese holding soup in her hand, apparently preparing to feed it to Malcolm.

She smirked, leisurely stood up, and walked in front of Everly.
“Then how can you be sure that there’s poison in here? if Malcolm rolly y dies, you won’t let me go either. Am I that stupid?”
Malcolm on the bed, not intending to help Reese, as he wanted to see how she would handle her predicament.
If it was their first meeting, he might have kindly assisted her. However, after spending time together, he increasingly felt that this girl was no ordinary person. In terms of both thinking and language she was not inferior to anyone present.
