Chapter 51 Thorny Fairy–2
“Then let me get the medicine for you first. You seem busy, so make sure to eat before you go back today,” Grandpa Robert insisted.
“No need, Grandpa. I have to go back to work, Reese politely declined
“You still need to work? With your salary, you won’t have to worry about food and clothing for your whole life, even without doing anything,” Grandpa Robert teased. Robert used to have the highest salary until Reese appeared, and now she has to be deferential to him to some extent.
“Grandpa, don’t make fun of me. I really need to work. Besides, theres nothing else for me to do, so I need to pass the time, Reese explained. As they chatted, Robert went back to his room and fetched the medicine for her, handing it directly to her. Reese accepted it gratefully.
y to you, Grandpa, when I get back.” Even though Grandpa Robert didn’t need that money, Reese felt obligated to give it.

Just as they were talking, a cheerful voice rang out, “Grandpa, I’m back.”
Upon hearing the voice of his grandson, Robert quickly pulled Reese over.
“Reese, you haven’t met my grandson yet. Let me introduce you.”
As Remington stepped into the living room, he saw his Grandpa Flynn holding hands with a fair skinned, delicate–looking girl, her face filled with a radiant smile. It was rare for him to see Grandpa Flynn so happy in front of someone. He considered himself to have seen countless beauties, but seldom had he come across someone with such a unique charm, especially those eyes which were clear and pure, with a slight upward tilt at the outer corners, exuding a captivating allure.
Reese had no interest in men and declined, “Grandpa, there’s no need. I have something to attend to and need to leave.”
She walked past Remington without even glancing at him, leaving him feeling quite deflated. How could a small girl like her be so dismissive and dare to refuse Grandpa Flynn’s request? Everyone else would be respectful when they encountered Grandpa Flynn, after all, he was a heavyweight in the medical field.
He shouted arrogantly at Reese’s back, Stop right there! Do you think you can leave without even acknowledging me?”
Robert sighed. This grandson of mine is looking for trouble. He actually dared to speak to Reese like this. That girl has a personality harder than a stone. Unlike ordinary girls who are soft, as long as the other person is strong, she can become even stronger.
In his lifetime, he had the fortune of seeing her arguing with a medical genius. Everyone advised Reese not to provoke that genius, but she dared to stand up and argue with him. What was even more surprising was that she actually won.
Reese stopped and turned around. Her previously clear eyes instantly became as sharp as a blade, scanning Remington, startling him.
“I have paid for this medicine. Besides, did you help me find it? Even if I owe someone a favor, it’s to your grandpa, not you. What does it have to do with you?”
Remington didn’t expect her to look so beautiful and speak with a sting. And where did his inexplicable fear come from just now? Could it be that he, a grown man, can be scared by this girl in her twenties?
He straightened his back and looked at Reese with disdain.
“Do you know my grandpa’s identity? Anyone who comes to my house treats him respectfully. Yet, you talk to him so casually. Do you understand manners? And when you see me, you don’t even bother to say hello and just want to leave as if nothing happened. Truly uncultured.”
A coldness flashed in Reese’s eyes, a complete contrast to her meck appearance from earlier.
