The warning was blunt and direct, without any trace of tactfulness. Remington found it amusing and replied, “Why should I stay away from her? She’s not your wife.”
Justin remained silent, silently watching this young man court trouble and dare to challenge Mr. Flynn. It seemed that he was tired of living. Reese scratched her head beside them, feeling a bit awkward.
“He is my husband,” she said.
Remington was dumbfounded once again, looking at Reese in disbelief, then at Malcolm
“Are you saying that… this man is your husband? Isn’t your husband Malcolm?‘ Remington was muttering to himself, and as soon as he finished, he snapped back to reality, staring incredulously at the man sitting in the wheelchair in front of him.
He was Malcolm, that man who resembled an emperor, Speechless, Beese looked at Remington’s idiotic expression and walked past her to stand behind Malcolm, pushing the wheelchair. Without saying a word, she headed towards the company.
Malcolm’s facial features softened slightly, and he instructed Justin, “Park the car
“Yes, Mr. Flynn.
By the time Remington processed what had happened today, Reese and Malcolm were nowhere to be seen. It felt like a dream.
As Reese pushed Malcolm into the elevator, she sked, “How are your legs?”
Malcolm’s eyes flashed with a hint of darkness, his tone indifferent. Reese, being perceptive and sensitive, immediately sensed his displeasure. If it were someone else, they might have asked, but Reese was used to doing her own thing and didn’t bother with these things at all.
The mood and emotions of anyone else were not as important to her. As if oblivious, she continued nonchalantly, “Till make some more of that medicine for you when I get back. As long as you absorb it well, your legs shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Mm,” Malcolm responded in the same indifferent tone, showing little emotion. He had been waiting for Reese to ask him, to take the initiative and explain who the young man was just now. The elevator doors opened with a ding, and Reese pushed Malcolm out, then handed the wheelchair to Justin who had come up behind them.
“You push him over there, I have things to do,” she said. Justin clearly noticed the strange expression on Malcolm’s face, a menacing presence behind his brows and eyes, but Reese paid no attention. Now was not the time to soothe him.
Is that her husband? He actually has the mind to
work.
Mrs. Flynn was indeed remarkable, no one dared to neglect Mr. Flynn
After handing Malcolm over to Justin, she was about to turn and leave, completely indifferent towards Mr. Flynn, Justin felt that Mr. Flynn’s face was getting darker and the temperature around dropped to freezing point.
Just as Reese was about to enter the elevator again, Malcolm stopped her.
Justin instinctively tightened his grip on the wheelchair, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Mr. Flynn was about to get angry, is Mrs. Flynn in trouble?
But Reese calmly turned around and looked at Malcolm, raising an eyebrow and speaking in a relaxed tone.
“Is there something else?”
Malcolm looked at her delicate face, her eyes shimmering with clarity. But he somehow felt that s
something wasn’t right, her demeanor was completely different from what he perceived.
It was as if all these years, wherever he went, others treated him with caution and dare not be disrespectful. Yet she, disregarded his words and now even ignored his emotions
At this moment, Justin received a phone call, ‘Alright, I understand. I will inform Mr. Flynn.”
He lowered his head and said to Malcolm, “Mr. Flynn, the person in charge is here to discuss further cooperation with us.”

Chapter 53 Did He Marry a Goddess?
Malcolm kept staring at Reese, raised his hand, wanting to say something, but in the end, he could only give up.
“Let’s go to the meeting “
“Yes,” Justin finished speaking and gave Reese a signal to leave. However, Reese was still clueless, only looking at Justin, blinking repeatedly.
What’s wrong with him?
Inside the elevator, Reese finally connected the dots from the previous situation and suddenly realized. It turns out Malcolm was about to get angry, but was interrupted by the meeting. The words he was about to say probably weren’t nice ones.
Since they weren’t good words, there was no need to listen.
She stepped out of the elevator and returned to the office. Susan and a few others were laughing and gossiping, but suddenly caught sight of a familiar figure. When they turned to take a closer look, their eyes nearly popped out in shock.
What’s going on? Did they see wrong?
The other colleagues gathered around
“Did we see wrong or did Reese get plastic surgery?
“Even if she did, how could it happen so quickly?”
“But she really became prettier, not just pretty, she’s like a goddess.”
Her freckles and skin tone have also changed. Could she have been playing some kind of role before, intentionally making herself ugly?”
Susan crossed her arms, her face filled with jealousy.
They never expected that Reese would turn out to be this beautiful
The simple shirt and pants she wore exuded a unique charm. Her hair was neatly tied up in a bun, and the smooth and natural contour from the back of her neck to her shoulder was flawless. Despite the efforts of her colleagues to meticulously groom themselves an hour earlier every day, they couldn’t hold a candle to her natural beauty without any adornment.
Earlier, when Reese was still unattractive, Susan had felt somewhat superior. After all, she was a long–standing employee of the company, and she believed that she had more authority than someone who had just joined
However, now she hadn’t even spoken to Reese yet, and she already felt as if she had been overshadowed in terms of grace.
From a distance, Reese appeared to be the kind of cold and poised beauty who made others feel inferior even when they wanted to approach her for a conversation. Her presence made the surrounding women pale in comparison. Susan clenched her fists tightly, a subtle ironic smile appearing on her face.
“You guys just don’t understand. She’s playing a dangerous game. Mr. Flynn must have looked down on her before when she was plain, but now that she suddenly looks beautiful, he must be pleasantly surprised. It’s all about catching people off guard. You should all learn from her. Nowadays, women are so preoccupied with trying to seduce their bosses rather than focusing on their work.”
As she spoke, Susan couldn’t help but glance at Reese, who completely ignored her. Susan thought that Reese was intimidated by her silence, and she became ven more arrogant, sitting in her chair with her legs crossed. Of course, the other colleagues would not support someone who had just arrived and always wore such an arrogant expression like Reese.
“That’s right! Who would bother playing this kind of face–changing game for no reason?”
“I heard that Mr. Flynn is already married and has a wife.”
