Susan’s face tuned pale as she pleaded with Justin. “Can you forgive me this time, considering that it’s my first mistake? I promise to pay more the future.”
“I’m sorry, but you won’t get that chance. As a long–time employee of the company, you should know how much Mr. Flynn detests employees making such basic mistakes. Write your resignation letter and hand it over.”

Susan raised her head in shock. “What? Im going to be fired? Why? I didn’t cause any loss to the company, and it was discovered in time. Why fire me?”
“You made even the most basic mistake, proving that you’re incompetent for this position. Just leave gracefully. You can still find another job. If you cling on, we’ll have to use other ways. After taking care of business, Justin tuned and left, not giving Susan a chance to argue.
If Mr. Flynn wants you to leave, he will never keep you until tomorrow.
The other colleagues
es did not expect Susan to be fired. Just this morning, she was arguing with Reese, but within a few hours, she had to leave the company.
Everyone was afraid, except for Reese, who trained indifferent.
Half an hour later, Susan packed her things and left. Before she left, she couldn’t help but threaten Reese, “Don’t think that by using these tricks to drive me away, you can rest easy. This company doesn’t lack enemies. Are you planning to drive them all away?“:
Keese casually sat in the chair, her gaze coldly sweeping over the angry Susan, a smirk on her lips. “If you think I’m the one who got you fired, then it proves that i have some talent. Otherwise, why would he fire you just because of me being bullied?”
Susan was about to explode in anger, raising her hand to hit Reese.
Reese’s eyes mowed, ready to dodge.
Reese grabbed her wrist and swiftly dodged, only to hear a cracking sound as she stood behind Susan.
Susan’s hand was twisted behind her, the pain causing tears to flow uncontrollably.
“Ah… it hurts, please… please let go of me.”
She was furious, forgetting that Reese had some combat skills.
Reese’s clear eyes were
filled with coldness as she held onto Susan’s arm without loosening her grip.
“Some people are inferior in their own abilities yet still try to defame others. Even if I were to dismiss you from the company, it would require you to be caught with evidence. The issue with the document you saw was your own fault, yet you tried to shift the blame onto me.”
She presented her case with reason and evidence, exuding an intimidating aura. Some colleagues wanted to step p forward to intervene but hesitated when they met Reese’s captivating gaze.
Pale–faced, Susan looked around, realizing that no one dared to come to her aid.
“Are
you all cowards? I’ve been so good to you all this time for nothing.”
A female colleague wanted to help Susan, but another held her back.
“Do you want to end up in the hospital? Can’t you see the hostility emanating from Beese? She’s not even afraid of Isaac.”
Recalling the recent incident where Isaac was mercilessly beaten to the ground, the female colleague became apprehensive.
With no one coming to her aid and the pain becoming unbearable, Susan had no choice but to plead
“Reese, I’m leaving the company, so please let goal ine.”
“Apologize,” Reese’s voice was as cold as ire, leaving no room for resistance.
Susan gritted her teeth, appearing reluctant, but remembered that this girl was crazy enough to even dare to fight Isaac. Who knew what else she was capable of?

Chapter 55 m not that easy to bully
In order to protect her arm, she had to temporarily surrender.
“Okay, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said those things about you. Please let go of me, otherwise my hand will truly be useless.”
Seeing her somewhat begrudging attitude, and knowing they would never meet again, Reese finally released her. Susan staggered a few steps before regaining
her balance.
Turning around, Reese glanced at everyone and spoke.
*Consider this a warning. 1, Reese, won’t allow anyone to bully me. Whether you want to sabotage me behind my back or confront me directly, as long as you’re not afraid of losing your job, it’s all the same to me.”
With Susan as an example, no one dared to trouble Reese anymore. They obediently sat down and continued with their work as if nothing had happened.
However, every word Reese said in the office was relayed to Everly’s ears without missing a single detail.
Her face revealed a hint of disdain and coldness, “She really thinks she’s the CEO’s wife, daring to show off in the company. Let me handle her.”
“Give the order. Tomorrow, have Reese meet with the Ocean Group’s representatives and let her handle it herself. Don’t cause any more trouble.”
“Something happened, otherwise the company won’t spare her.”
“But Miss Eve
Everly, didn’t Mr. Flynn from Ocean Group say that he wanted to find someone else to negotiate?” the assistant asked cautiously.
Everly gave her a cold look, “Since she’s a newcomer, she needs more experience. Having someone accompany her is just fine. There’s no need to worry.”
Knowing Everly’s temper, the assistant didn’t dare to argue and could only comply.
“Then I’ll go take care of it now.”
Just the thought of Reese not being able to feel proud soon made Everly feel relieved.
After work, Reese received a last minute notice that she would be accompanying the Ocean Group for a discussion tomorrow. She generally wouldn’t refuse arranged work, and since she was busy preparing medicine for Malcolm, she agreed without much thought.
The assistant called Everly and informed her of Reese’s response, which surprised Everly
“She actually agreed so readily without any suspicion?”
“Don’t worry, Miss Everly. She didn’t have any doubts.”
“Well, that’s good, Everly was worried that things would be difficult if Reese had any suspicions.

Reese returned to the Flynn family mansion and went straight to the kitchen, where she personally tended to the stove while making medicine for Malcolm. This medicine was not only expensive but also required great effort and resources to find.
If she hadn’t been lucky to find some at Grandpa Roberts, Malcolm’s legs would have had to wait even longer.
“It seems you have quite a few connections, even able to find such high–quality medicine, Vincent said as soon as Reese closed the lid. He stood at the kitchen door, with his handsome features and vast, unsettling gaze.
Malcolm was clever, he couldn’t match an expert.
With her vast experience in reading people, Reese could tell that he
was l
like a smiling tiger. He probably had a hand in Malcolm’s legs condition, even if
Thank goodness she came, or else it would be a waste of his handsome face and figure,
Her expression remained indifferent, lacking any interest in talking to him,
“It’s just luck. If you had the same fuck, I’m sure you would have found such good medicine to treat Malcolm’s legs,” she replied, sensing a hint of irony in
his words.
