Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 61 I’ll Break Your Arm if I Have To
“Don’t make the mistake of crossing me, okay? My uncle, Winston Moore, mentioned there’s a new hire here who started off on the wrong foot by picking a fight on day one. I can’t stand people who cause trouble instead of working hard. I swear, if I catch them slacking, they won’t last long in this company!”
Reese kept silent, giving the impression she wasn’t listening at all.
Not getting a response, Lilly was livid. “Are you even hearing a word ‘m saying?”
Reese, sipping from her cup, replied casually, What does your uncle being Winston Moore have to do with me? But yeah, those who stir up trouble instead of working? They should be dealt with, lest the office turn into a cesspool.”
With that, Reese walked past Lilly and left.
Lilly watched her go, her face twisting with rage.
One of the female colleagues, quick to cozy up to power, approached Lilly. Seeing as her previous ally Susan had left, she was on the prowl for a new patron.
“Team Leader Lilly, my name is Claire Hamilton. Reese is the new girl, and rumor has it she got in through connections. It was also her doing that Susan was pushed out. She’s a force to be reckoned with, Team Leader Lilly. Better watch out.”
Lilly’s uncle being Winston Moore of ZS Group meant that from a young age,‘ she was used to being the center of attention. She could enter any company through the back door, and everyone would have to respect her because of her connections.
But Lilly had never encountered someone as arrogant and brazen as Reese.
She glared at Reese’s desk, seething. “If she thinks she can show off in front of me, I’ll make sure she’s fired.”
“Absolutely, Claire nodded eagerly in agreement.
“When she comes back, remind her about the project discussion tonight at seven,” Lilly said, her eyes gleaming with malice. It was a difficult client, and with the tight deadline looming today, if Reese failed, she’d face the consequences from above.
Perfectly aligning with Everly’s wishes, Lilly would be justified in kicking Reese out, should she fail.
Claire understood perfectly: “I’ll let Reese know once she’s back.”
After taking a sip of her coffee, Reese frowned. It was nowhere near as good as the specialty beans she brewed at home – like drinking tap water. Next time, she resolved to bring her own specialty coffee from home. Yes, that would do.
Returning to her desk, she was instantly stopped by Claire Hamilton
Reese, don’t forget Team Leader Lilly’s reminder to head over for the project negotiation at seven tonight. Today’s the final deadline
-If that contract isnt secured, you will be held responsible
She wasn’t abaid to tell Reese; after all, she didnt believe the deal could be closed.
Got it. Beese replied with ease.
Claire Hension watched her casual demeanor and decided to cattle her a bit. “Word is even Mr. Flynn himself couldn’t seal the deal last work. Dont Intact now and end up embarrassed later.
Reese shot Claire a sind glaure. All this concern for me, Claire il n’t land this project, are you willing to share the fallout? If

not, spare me the pointless chatter.”
Reese had no time for those who paraded borrowed power. Her life’s mantra was straightforward: show me respect, and I’ll double it. Cross her with baseless claims, and she’d crush the opposition without a second thought.
Even if the highest powers intervened, she wouldn’t hold back.
Life was about happiness, after all. Why live stifled and upset?
At seven sharp, Reese headed to the club with the contract in hand, solo–despite suggestions for backup, which she’d flatly rejected. Tag–alongs were just dead weight, potentially more of a hindrance than a help.
Taking a seat upon arrival, it wasn’t long before an overweight man lopped down beside her, exuding casual impatience. “You’re from the Flynn Group, right? How many times must I say it–I’m not interested in signing anything. Why do you people keep…”
Henry Kim stopped mid–sentence as his gaze fell on Reese.
He fancied himself well–acquainted with beauty, but the pure–yet–chill essence exuding from Reese was something he’d never encountered. Even in her modest attire, she radiated an undeniable allure.
She stood out like a diamond in the rough, captivating his full attention.
Men are often powerless against beauty, and Henry found Reese’s composed allure extraordinary–a perfect blend of enchantment.
Such a rare gem, he thought.
His demeanor shifted swiftly. “Miss Reese, it is? Pleasure to meet you. Just you then?”
“Just me,” Reese affirmed, her voice cool and businesslike. “If there are any concerns with the project, Mr. Kim, feel free to lay them out. I’ll clarify any doubts.”
Reese’s expression remained neutral, her tone detached–not the least bit desperate for his signature, but rather as if he were the one eager for her consent.
And sure enough, she had the clout to back it up.
Henry Kim’s chubby face was slick with grease, squeezed into a grease–slicked smile as his gaze fell lecherously on Reese, making her skin crawl with discomfort.
Still, Reese kept her cool. If he dared cross a line with her, today would mark his end.
“You think you can handle what Mr. Flynn couldn’t? You must be overconfident, Miss Reese, blurted Henry, his corpulent body leaning forward with an unbridled glint of greed in his eyes.
Reese’s lips twisted into a smirk. “Mr. Kim, your time is just as valuable, so let’s cut to the chase. The company has already offered a two percent concession on this project. Any lower, and there’s no dea–our firms needn’t bother with further discussions.”
Bat work was the farthest thing from Henry’s mind; he was consumed with how to make Reese his.
He chortled, “I own this hotel. It’s getting late… Why don’t we head upstairs, have a drink, and chat?”
* the moment Henry sel eyes on her, Reese had seen through his intentions.
With a face like that, the audacity to cover her.

Her smile curved ever so slightly–a dazzling radiance that could be described as devastatingly beautiful, captivating onlookers.
“Sure, but touch me, you’ll regret it,” she teased.
Henry was almost drooling, but he didn’t really believe this slip of a girl could break his hand. He took her words as a playful way to save face.
He nodded eagerly. “Yes, yes, let’s go.”
Reese followed him to the room, where Justin Chabon, passing by the door, caught a glimpse of her silhouette and that of the overweight man. He immediately called Mr. Flynn.
“Mr. Flynn, I think I just saw your wife at the hotel getting into the elevator with Henry Kim. Not sure if they’re going to a room.”
“Send me the location. I’m on my way,”
