Chapter 62 Never Cross Mr. Flynn’s Wife–1
“Got it.”
Justin hung up and sent the location via text before waiting patiently at the entrance for Mr. Flynn.
As soon as Henry pushed open the door, he was eager to push Reese onto the bed, thinking she was a sure thing, his true nature
laid bare.
“Sweetheart, there’s no running from me now. I just can’t wait any longer.”
Reese gently pushed him away, her face still painted with an irresistibly charming smile, which made Henry’s heart burst with joy.
“Mr. Kim, what’s the rush? We haven’t even talked about the contract yet. If you don’t sign today, I’m going to catch hell from the bosses back home,” the words hung in the air as tension simmered.
“Happiness first, Henry Kim blurted out as he shrugged off his jacket, eyes locked onto Reese with a predatory gaze.
Dodging nimbly, Reese retorted, “Sign first, then we can talk.”
But Henry Kim, transfixed by the rare beauty before him, hastily scrawled his signature on the contract and cast the pen aside, lunging forward with the hope of ensnaring Reese in an embrace.
“So, can we get on with it now? Come on, beautiful,” he crooned, a hint of smugness in his voice.
The smile on Reese’s face vanished. Ice replaced warmth as her gaze, sharp as blades, stabbed into Henry Kim. He felt an unexpected chill, almost believing he was dealing with two entirely different people.
“What’s the meaning of this, beautiful?” Henry Kim stammered, taken aback by the sudden change.
With a wicked smile that could captivate anyone, Reese picked up the contract, confirming the inked signature. “Signing a contract. Can’t you see?”
Realization dawned on Henry Kim, his face twisted with anger. “You little trickster, you dare play me!”
“Shut your trap. I’m not wasting my time here with your nonsense,” Reese snapped, stepping past Henry Kim with the contract in hand, but there was no way he’d let her off the hook easily.
“Think you can trick me and just walk away? You won’t be leaving through that door today,” Henry Kim declared, determined to have Reese, and reached out to pull her into his arms.
Unfortunately for him, he had sorely underestimated her. At the moment his grip settled on her wrist, Reese swiftly rotated, using his own bulky frame against him. With a sharp kick, pain sent Henry Kim tumbling to the floor.
She scoffed with disdain, As if you could ever lay a hand on me.”
Henry Kim, seething on the ground, refused to accept defeat, certain he could not be bested by a ‘little girl.
With another charge at Reese, her eyes glinted with a bloodthirsty coldness.
“Birde,” she whispered, her body gracefully flipping, hands grabbing Henry Kim’s arms and executing a swift reversal. The sound of snapping troters echoed, followed by Henry Kim’s agonizing howl.
Ah… its killing spe!

Curled on the floot and bathed in cold sweat, Henry Kim writhed and shook uncontrollably as his face turned an ashen hue.
Reese dusted off her hands, then mockingly consoled Henry Kim, “M. Kim, didn’t I warn you? If you dared to lay a finger on me, I’d break your hand. You should’ve listened.”
“You really think you can threaten me with a lawsuit?” Reese scoffed, unfazed by the bold accusation. Her eyebrows arched in defiance above her fair cheeks, a picture of utter nonchalance. “Go ahead, I’ll be waiting for the subpoena.”
Henry Kim was livid. He’d never encountered anyone with such galla mere employee daring to be so audacious.
With a decisive slam of the door, Reese made her exit, taking the elevator straight to the back door and leaving without a backward glance.
When Justin Chabon and Malcolm finally reached the room, they were greeted by a scene of pristine order, save for Henry Kim writhing in agony on the floor.
“What in the world happened here?” Justin mumbled, searching for the Madam.
Malcolm loomed over Henry, his gaze captivating and intense. “Where’s the girl that was with you?”

Chapter 62 Never Cross Mr. Flynn’s Wife–2
Clutching Malcolm’s pant leg as if it were a lifeline, Henry pleaded, Mr. Flynn, that Reese, she’s with your company, right? She actually dared to break my hand. You need to punish her, and make it harsh.”
Malcolm knew Reese wasn’t the type to start trouble without reason. His eyes darkened with a chilling intensity as he pressed, “What did you do to her?”
“I just wanted her company for the night. Who knew the lady could fight? And she tricked me into signing some contract acknowledge it, Henry said in a panicked rush, fearing someone else might get the upper hand.
Standing off to the side, Justin Chabon cringed, mentally facepalming. Henry was digging his own grave, even admitting to unwelcome advances towards the Madam.
I’ll never
Malcolm’s fury was palpable, a swirling storm of rage. His voice was a cold hiss. “Since the contract’s signed, it’s done. Justin Chabon, break his legs. We take care of family matters in–house.”
“Yes,” Justin replied, almost casually.
Henry’s face drained of color, confusion and terror taking over. “Wait, Mr. Flynn, what are you doing? I didn’t do anything wrong!”
Justin’s mocking laughter filled the room. “You just messed with Mr. Flynn’s wife.”
Henry looked up in disbelief. “What? That woman, she’s… she’s Mr. Flynn’s wife?”
“You’d better consider yourself lucky. Right now, you’re just looking at a few months in the hospital. If you really tick Mr. Flynn off, a hospital stay is the least of your concerns.”
Justin Chabon couldn’t even be bothered to shout out a “911” as backup for Henry Kim before he just up and left. Henry practically blacked out from the pain.
“I mean, talk about ruthless, someone muttered.
Not only did they break his hand without a second thought, but they also snatched the contract. Mr. Flynn was even more brutal, going so far as to break Henry’s ankle too.
Reese walked back into the office where most of the staff were still burning the midnight oil, the end–of–year evaluations always kicked things up a notch.
Claire Hamilton was just tidying up her desk when she looked up and saw Reese returning. She strode over, ready for the usual
banter.
“Look who’s back, our very own hero. So, did Mr. Kim give you a dressing down, and that’s why you’re so late? Hope you weren’t off somewhere crying your eyes out.”
Reese didn’t give her the satisfaction of a response, simply tossing the contract onto her desk.
There, the contract you wanted.”
Claire’s eyes widened in disbelief as she glanced at the papers on the desk. ‘No way, you actually got the contract?
Its signed by Mr. Kim himself. You think that’s a forgery?”
Reese reveled in the shock on the faces of those who’d mocked and underestimated her, as they gaped, looking as if they’d swallowed something foul.

Never underestimate anyone, and don’t mock others. You never know the extent of someone’s capabilities.
But Claire Hamilton refused to believe it. How could someone as new as Reese swing a deal like Henry Kim’s project without pulling some strings?
“You’re not pulling a fast one on us, are you? They forge contracts a the time, Reese. If you’re trying to scam the company with a fake, you’re asking for a lawsuit.”
Reese was fed up with Claire’s logic. She hadn’t wanted to stoop to her level, but Claire just wouldn’t let up and kept pestering her, so it was time to put an end to it.
“If you think I’m duping the company, let’s make a bet. If the contract’s a fake, then the loser buys dinner for the entire staff.”
The mention of a free meal got the other colleagues swarming around.
“Claire Hamilton, take the bet. I don’t believe for a second that she, newbie with nothing but good looks, could pull it off.”
