Fall in Love with the Dominant Billionaire
Chapter 66 Tender and Passionate Kisses–1
Reese was stunned, his hand softly caressing the crown of her head, his voice enchantingly sweet, almost like consoling a child.
A shadow of unpleasant memories flickered across her heart, shifting the color on her face.
Malcolm noticed she was somewhere else in her mind and saw a hint of loss in the depths of her eyes. He felt an inexplicable ache for this girl–so outwardly tough, yet so fragile within.
Reese, head bowed, suddenly felt a finger under her chin, lifting her gaze to meet his deep, mysterious eyes. Then something soft pressed against her lips.
The room’s cold, white light accentuated Malcolm’s features, with his thick lashes framing his dark, intense eyes that glimmered with specks of light.
Reese’s heart trembled once more, her body heat climbing, engulfed by his scorching breath.
Her mind went blank in that moment, succumbing to the tenderness of his kiss.
They were inches apart, trapped in an increasingly warm, dreamlike haze.
Then his lips brushed her ear, his voice low and husky, like a siren’s call, “Honey, don’t worry, from now on, darling will take great care of you.”
Reese’s world exploded like a fireball had struck her. She opened her eyes wide, questioning her recent actions.
What had he done to her?!
Sensing Reese snap back to reality, Malcolm quickly let go, and she scrambled away from him, their eyes suddenly frosty.
“Malcolm, do I need to show you I mean business? Stop calling me wife and don’t you dare kiss me again!”
She began to question herself–was her brain malfunctioning? Had she not come to her senses, who knows how far things might have gone.
Reese was starting to doubt whether helping him regain the use of his legs was a blessing or a curse. Even now, he didn’t miss an opportunity to tease her.
If he fully recovered, she feared becoming a sitting duck for him.
The thought alone made Reese shiver. No, she had to put a stop to this.
Malcolm, on the other hand, touched his lips, seemingly lingering on the moment, his look suggestively charming rather than repulsive.
This was maddening.
“So, if I can’t call you wife, what should I call you? Baby‘ or ‘dear–just tell me, and I’ll make sure you’re pleased,” he teased.
Reese was at her wit’s end. Couldn’t this man maintain a shred of dignity? Weren’t her words clear enough?
It seemed words wouldn’t suffice; it was time for action.
Determination gleamed in her eyes as she reached for the needle in fer hand, ready to jab at him…

A glint of cunning flickered in Malcolm’s eyes. As Reese lunged with the needle, he seized her wrists in a flash, the sharp point mere millimeters from his eyeball.
Reese was infuriated by her powerlessness. How could this man be
skilled, as if he could anticipate her every move?
She pushed harder with the hand holding the needle, brows knit in ustration. Malcolm suddenly flashed a mischievous grin.
“Sweetheart, that’s quite heartless. If I went blind, I’d miss gazing at your beautiful face.”
Her resolve wavering, Reese knew she was outmatched. Dropping her hands, she huffed dismissively.
“Don’t think I can’t handle you. I helped you get back on your feet, and I can just as easily take you down again.”
If she couldn’t beat him in a fair game, who said she couldn’t play dirty?
But Malcolm wasn’t intimidated. Leaning casually against the headboard, he replied with a half–smile.
“If I were to lie down again, well, then you’d just have to wait to divorce me until I was back on my feet.”
Reese snorted in disdain. “You think you’re invincible? Go ahead, try me. Let’s see if I can’t walk right out of the Flynn family’s door.”
What she wanted to do, no one could stop; what she didn’t want to do, no one could force.

“Isn’t it good here? Food, drink, and my tender care. Who would take care of you out there?”
His words carried weight, and Reese couldn’t help but replay their recent kiss in her head. She was still reeling from it, nearly losing
her composure.
Feeling flushed with embarrassment, she bit her lip. How could he be so conceited?
Reese realized she couldn’t bear to spend another night under the same roof with him.
“I’m going to sleep in the guest room.”
She brushed off the prior conversation, not asking for his opinion, merely informing him.
Malcolm’s handsome face showed no sign of concern, as if Reese had just told him a joke.
Seeing no objection from Malcolm, Reese turned and left the room.
As the door slammed, Malcolm’s interest deepened.
“What a fiery little thing,” he murmured with a smirk.
Alyssa, having recently washed away her humiliation, was grateful to Reese, who came through in a clutch. Otherwise, Alyssa’s career in live broadcasting might have been over before it even began.
Cheerfully gearing up for a drink of water, Alyssa bumped into Reese storming out with a dark expression.
“What’s the matter, master? Did my Malcolm upset you?”
Reese had checked the guest room earlier, finding it bare, not even a bedsheet in sight, and nothing in the wardrobe. How could she possibly sleep there?
The thought of returning to his room was suddenly repelling; his own teasing mind the culprit, speculating what might unfold in the solitary dark.
Seeing Alyssa, an idea sparked to life.
“I’m crashing in your room tonight.”
Alyssa blinked, not opposed to the company–especially today, after Reese had served her a slice of sweet revenge, vanquishing the so–called national champion Angela, and raking in thousands of new fans for her.
A swell of pride inflated her chest at the thought.
On a usual day, had Reese suggested bunking with her, the offer would’ve been shut down with a side of sarcasm. But not today…
Except
Don’t you usually burk with Malcolm? If he finds out you spent the night in my room, I’m as good as dead by morning.”
The mere thought of Malcolm’s cold, dangerous glare sent shivers down her spine. She was practically walking head–on into peril.
“I got your back, Reese assured her, thumping her chest confidently

Alyssa shot her a skeptical look. “Oh please, you’re new to the Flynn family. If Malcolm gets ticked off, you can sense his fury from a mile away without him saying a word, and I’d rather not risk it.”
Though Alyssa was truly grateful for Reese’s help today, challenging Malcolm was overstepping her courage.
Reese wasn’t fazed, brimming with schemes to persuade Alyssa.
“Let’s make a deal. You name a condition, and in exchange, I get to sleep in your room.”
Her mind was set; nothing would compel her to share a roof with Malcolm tonight, in fear of tearing it down in a fit of rage.
Alyssa pondered, her eyes glinting mischievously. All those new fans demanded she stream “Arena of Valor nightly. The problem? She couldn’t fake the skill of the player who’d won the fans over.
Impersonation was one thing, but gaming skill was another. If her new followers glimpsed her true, less impressive abilities, her prestige would crumble.
Running out of patience and overwhelmed by sleepiness, Reese pressed, “Decided?”
“Okay, I got it–a condition.”
Reese scoffed, “No matter what it is, I might not agree.”
“Just play a match of Arena of Valor for my stream every night, and ‘ll let you stay.”
Alyssa calculated the potential gain of fans if Reese stepped in–this deal was a sure win.
“A week, Reese countered.
A week wasn’t enough for Alyssa; her brow furrowed. Once the week was up, she’d have to play herself–wasted effort.
