“Ridiculous. Isn‘ t President Benedict‘ s wife supposed to be six years older than him? That woman in the photo was young and stunning, clearly some cunning seductress.

Her words were abruptly silenced when Benedict strode forward, his expression cold
as steel. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and delivered a sharp slap that echoed through the corridor.

“You dare call Odette a seductress?” His voice was dangerously low, each word dripping with disdain. “Have you swallowed the heart of a bear and the guts of a leopard to spew such nonsense? Do you even know who she is?”
“Odette,” Benedict declared with
unwavering conviction, “is the woman I love most in this world. She is my wife.
The fan leaders staggered back, clutching their cheeks in shock, their disbelief painted across their faces as they stared at Benedict.
“President Benedict, please don’t be angry. They were just trying to defend me…” Millicent hurried forward, her voice tinged with urgency as she reached out to calm him.

Benedict brushed her hand away with an icy
glare, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. “And who do you think you
are?”
Millicent froze, her confidence faltering under the weight of his scorn.
“President Benedict, isn’t it? Why are you treating her like this? When her boyfriend gets here, we’ll make sure he gives you a proper explanation!”
“Boyfriend?” Benedict scoffed, his lips curling into a bitter smile.
Benedict had already warned Millicent before that once their relationship was exposed to the world, it would be the end.

and your child…” Millicent anxiously tried to explain.
“My child? Millicent, are you out of your
mind? How could you be carrying my child?!” Benedict asked, his voice sharp with disbelief.
Millicent froze, her eyes wide. “Why not? We’ve done it so many times…”
The fans fell silent, their confusion mirrored on their faces.
“What’s going on?”
“Who exactly is her boyfriend?”
“From what she’s saying, it sounds like it

“Wasn‘ t Benedict after Odette for years before they finally married and became the industry’s model couple?”

“So, Millicent isn’t the victim? Could it be that she’s the one who intruded as the mistress in this doctor‘ s family?”
“Did you hear Benedict deny she’s pregnant? Could everything she‘ s said just be a fabrication?”

Millicent was quickly escorted to the
obstetrics and gynecology department. Ten minutes later, she emerged, her head low in
defeat.
The doctor from the OB–GYN department held the report and spoke, “Benedict, this young lady… she’s not pregnant.”
Millicent refused to back down. She grabbed Benedict‘ s hand, desperation in her eyes. “You need to explain this. Odette doesn’t have a uterus, so she can’t have children. But what about me? I’m perfectly healthy. Why can’t I carry your child?!”
