Chapter 14 The Psychologist.
The heart belonged to Shelby, so Donovan’s worry was only natural. After all, she had been reduced to ashes, and the only thing left of her in this world was her heart beating in someone else’s body.
Cordon and Kathleen hurriedly arrived at the hospital, where they encountered Donovan in the corridor.
Donovan was somewhat taken aback. “Dad, Mom, what brings you here!”
Kathleen’s eyes were somewhat red. “I missed you, so I came to see you.”
Gordon glanced at the attending physician, who understood and hurriedly left.

Donovan’s eyes narrowed. “Who are you saying is dead?”
His fists clenched tightly. “Even if I were to die, she wouldn’t. Shelby is three years younger than me. She’s always in good health.”
Gritting his teeth, Gordon trembled with rage. “You must be out of your mind.”
He had initially harbored doubts about Callum’s words over the phone, but at that moment, he was certain Donovan had psychological issues.
Gordon made a phone call. “Everyone, come over. Bring him into the car.”
Before long, Gordon’s people arrived.
Clancing around, Donovan rolled up his sleeves.
