Chapter 39 A Young Girl’s Sentiments Are Always Poetic
After hearing Hazel’s earlier remarks, Allegra’s opinion of her totally shifted
Hazel was smooth in her dealings, straightforward in her actions, neither arrogant nor servile.
Sure enough, namors really were unreliable.
Looking at the design draft, Allegra
gra fel a ruth of excitement.
Before this, she had checked out Galaxy Group’s clothing to understand the brand she might endorse, and honestly, it seemed pretty low–end,
If George hadn’t forced her to come, she wouldn’t be sitting scross from Hazel now.
So, she had already decided to tum
tum down the endorsement. I
Just now, bearing Hazel’s pitch, Allegra thought she was exaggerating, but the didn’t expect such an impressive design.
“Not bad,” she nodded in approval.
“If Ms. Guise thinks it’s acceptable and is willing to be our Galaxy Group’s spokesperson, please name your price,” Hazel continued.
That depends on your sincerity. How much are you willing to offer?” Allegra shot back.
As far as I know, Ms. Guise’s endorsement fee is around $20 million a year. And we are willing to pay that,” Hazel added.
Tean give you a discount, Allegra offered.
Hazel looked a bit puzzleil.
_______ “If I really bank $20 million, I’m afraid someone at home would break my legs,” Allegra joked, but Hazel looked even more confused,
“How about a 50% discount? After all, my current market value is there, and the minimum is still in the millions. Otherwise, the agency’s commission would be reduced. So I’m willing to be the Galaxy Group’s spokesperson.” She winked at Hazel, then added, “Exclusive spokesperson.”
That simple sentence meant Allegra wouldn’t take on any other clothing endorsements.
Hazel was somewhat flattered, not expecting Allegra to be so agreeable and even offering a 50% discount, which was way beyond her expectations.
She actually thought Allegra would flat–out refuse, especially since she was at the dinner last night and should have seen her relationship with George, which could have easily led to a breakdown in negotiations.
“Draft the contract, and tomorrow you can meet with my agent. She will handle everything.” Allegra continued.
“Thank you, Ms. Guise. It’s my honor to cooperate with you.” Hazel extended her hand generously.
“Since we know each other now, you can just call me Allegra,” Allegra remarked.
After all, they had officially gotten to know each other.
“Want a drink? Allegra asked.
“Of course.” Hazel nodded.
“Can you hold your liquor?” Allegra asked again.
“Not bad,” Hazel answered.
“It’s rare to meet, and we’re friends now, so lets drink until we drop,” Allegra suggested.
“Don’t we have work to do tomorrow? Kenna reminded.
“We can
can sleep in the morning,” Allegra said somewhat displeased, “I called you out that night just to drink with me, so shut up!”
Kenna knew her too well, so tonight, they definitely wouldn’t stop until they were drunk.
Allegra and Kenna were best friends. Initially, Hazel was a bit nervous, but after a few drinks, she found Allegra’s personality really adorable, completely different from the cold, high society lady on screen. And they got along very well.

Friendships between girls were easy to establish, for example, they could get drunk together to become friends.
After drinking, it was almost midnight
“Ill take you home,” Hazel said, feeling a bit dizzy. It was her gathering, so she felt responsible for getting everyone home safely.
Allegra hiccuped, also feeling a bit unsteady. “No need, Kenna can take me. We’re on the same route.”
Then she pulled Kenna out of the private room.
Hazel, not feeling assured, immediately followed them.
All three had been drinking but remained rational, especially Kenna, who was particularly sober.
Hazel hadn’t drunk much either, just feeling a bit dizzy. After all, it was her first time drinking with Allegra, and she wanted to be a good host.
Allegra and Kenna got into a lusury car.
Hazel watched their car drive away before returning to her own. Leaning back in the seat, she felt a bit uncomfortable, staring blankly at the traffic outside.
Suddenly, her phone rang, startling her.
George: [Remember to drink honey water when you get home.
Hazel frowned and tossed the phone aside.
Since George went on a business trip, he had been sending her a few messages every day, but she chose to ignore them, never replying.
The car returned to T
to The York Mansion, and Allegra had already fallen asleep in the back seat.
Just a moment ago, she had called George to beag about making Hazel drunk, and the next second, she was out cold
Kenna admired her ability to fall asleep immediately after drinking and wake up without a headache, full of energy, indicating she was a natural–born drinker.
She then got out of the car, ready to pull the sleeping Allegra out and take her home, when an SUV suddenly stopped in front of her.
Kenna frowned.
She saw Lucius get out of the driver’s seat, and stride over to Allegra. “What happened?”
“She got drunk,” Kenna replied.
Lucius froword slightly.
“Since you’re back, then you take her in. You know I don’t have much strength to carry her,” she said, winking at Lucius.
“Got it,” Lucius nodded.
He then pulled the still–sleeping /
Allegra out and carried her in his armes.
Despite his slender appearance, Lucius had surprising strength.
Powell, take care on your way back,” he said gently.
“Olay.” Renna nodded. –
Lucius then carried Allegra hack to the villa. Watching their backs, Kenna suddenly remembered something
She and Allegia had been classmates since high school. She remembered une night in their sophomore year, Allegra called her in the middle of the night. saying she had fallen in love.
And teenage feelings were always poetic and pure. She could even feel Allegra’s excitement and happiness over the phone.
But after that night, it seemed like the matter was forgotten. Allegra never mentioned it again, and now right years had passed
she still remembered clearly that Allegra had told her she liked a boy named Lucius.

Lucius carried Allegra to her room and laid her down but didn’t immediately leave. Instead, he looked down at the sleeping Allegra.
Her face was flushed, her lips moving as if she were saying something
