Chapter 12
“Oh?! Is that so?!”
As he was shouting, the fearful expression I had been wearing suddenly turned into a cold, mocking smile.
Before he could process my change in demeanor, the doors behind me swung open. Two of Alpha Leonard’s bodyguards strode out, pushing a wheelchair. And there he was -Alpha Leonard himself, looking as alive as ever, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
The moment Alpha Joseph saw him, the smile on his face instantly froze.
His face paled. “No! Impossible!” He stumbled back, nearly tripping over his own cane. “Didn’t you die? I poisoned you with

Wolfsbane–deadly Wolfsbane! How can you
still be alive?!”
He pointed a trembling finger at Alpha Leonard, his voice rising in hysteria. “You crippled piece of trash! You shouldn’t be breathing!”
“Crippled?” Leonard repeated with a chilling laugh, his voice smooth yet deadly.
And then, Alpha Leonard slowly stood from the wheelchair. Every eye in the room widened as he took a step forward. Then another. The man wasn’t limping.
Reaching my side, he slid his arm around my waist, his touch both possessive and reassuring. His gaze never left Alpha Joseph as he spoke.
“Alpha Joseph, I believe the word *crippled*

Alpha Joseseph’s face turned a deepeshshadefc red—whetlecher from anger or embarrasassmer I couldn’t tefteli, and honestly, I didn’t carere.
With a despenerate growl, he lunged towarards teeth baredeanand claws extended.
Before he could geget within striking distancec a commanding vovoice cut through the e tension.n.
“Freeze! Werewolf CoCouncil officers!”

officer announced, stepping forward. “Come quietly, or we’ll make you.”
Alpha Joseph’s mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. His mother, who had been silent up until now, rushed to his side, shrieking, “This is all a misunderstanding! We didn’t do anything wrong!”
“Oh, really?“Alpha Leonard’s smirk grew. “Because I have all the evidence right here.”
He handed over a stack of documents and recordings–proof of Alpha Joseph’s attempts to poison him, embezzle pack assets, and collude with rogues.
It was game over for the Cantrell family.
Alpha Joseph and his mother were dragged away, kicking and screaming, while Omega Amanda–looking pale and terrified–was

sentenced to three years as an accomplice. I might’ve felt sorry for her if she hadn’t spent so much time trying to ruin my life.
With the Cantrells out of the picture, life returned to a blissful normal–well, as normal as things get in a Blue Rock Pack. Alpha Leonard wasted a lot of time planning our wedding, and when the day arrived, it was nothing short of magical.
I walked toward him in a custom–made wedding dress that sparkled like the stars.
Alpha Leonard’s voice was steady but filled with emotion as he took my hands in his.
“Luna Britney,” he said, his eyes never leaving mine, “you are my one and only treasure in this life. I will love you forever and protect

you.”
I blinked back tears, my voice firm as I replied, “Alpha Leonard, we once missed our chance with each other, but it’s okay. From now on, I will never let go of your hand.”
The pack cheered, and for the first time in a long time, I felt truly at peace.
Later, my father went bankrupt, and My stepmother Roxanne ran off with all his
money.
Shamelessly, he came to me.
“Luna Britney, I’m your biological father. Alpha Leonard has plenty of money, so why not help me out?”

“This good fortune was supposed to go to Omega Amanda. If it weren’t for me, you’d never be living the life you have now!”
I couldn’t help but laugh at his audacity, my face growing cold as I kicked him out.
“Get out of here. I don’t have a father!”
He tried to cause more trouble, but Alpha Leonard took care of him in his usual efficient way: by shipping him off to Southeast Asia to do hard labor.
Meanwhile, I acquired The Crystal Blood Pack, fulfilling my mother’s dream and cementing my place as a leader in the werewolf world. My days are now filled with love, purpose, and a flourishing pack.
And Alpha Leonard? He keeps his promise every single day, making me laugh,

by my side.
For the rest of my life, I know one thing for sure: I will always be happy.
