Unless I undergo a gland transplant, I have only a few months left to live.
But even if I found a suitable donor, what chance does an Omega like me have of surviving?
As I hesitated whether to tell my adoptive parents about the diagnosis, they called and asked me to come home.
It had been four years since they last reached out, and I couldn’t help but feel a spark of joy–thinking they’d finally remembered their Omega daughter.
But what I didn’t expect was that the first thing they said when I walked through the door was to demand that I break the bond!
And not just that–they wanted me to hand over my Alpha to my sister!

Standing before them–this family of three–l felt nothing but alienation.
My adoptive parents had once treated me with such kindness when I was a child, but when did everything change?
I looked at Rose’s smug face.
Since that day, my adoptive parents had only seen Rose; they couldn’t even see me
anymore.
It was as if I’d become a meaningless, foreign Omega in their house.
In this home, I was expected to yield to my sister in everything; what I had, she had too.
What she had, I often didn’t.
When my sister fell as a child, it was me who was suppressed by the Alpha.
When she made a mistake, I was the one

The things she didn’t like were thrown at me like trash, while the things I loved were always taken from me and destroyed.
She could effortlessly win my adoptive parents‘ affection, while I, an Omega, had to work tirelessly just to earn a lukewarm compliment.
When I got into the top wolf clan academy, my adoptive parents barely acknowledged it. When my sister got into a regular university, she was showered with praise and rewards.
As a child, I always worried about my sweet and innocent sister being bullied by the Alphas.
I don’t know how many times 1 shielded her from their harassment when she first
awakened.
After all, she was my sister!
But I never imagined that the angelic sister

Her happiness was built entirely on my suffering..
She knew how much I craved my adoptive parents‘ love, and she effortlessly stole their attention away from me.
She knew I longed for freedom, and yet she shoved me deeper into the Alpha abyss of the Stone family.
Looking at the adoptive parents I’d lived with for over twenty years, for the first time, I felt completely hysterical.
“Why? Why are you doing this to me?”
“Why should I marry in her place when she doesn’t even want to?”
“Why should I break the bond just because Sebastian’s regained his sight?”
“If you forced me to accept the bond back then, why are you telling me I’m not worthy now?”

Mr. Thompson struck me hard, his Alpha strength sending me crashing to the floor.
“Luka! Don’t forget who raised you–this stray Omega! Who paid for your education? I raised you this big, and this is how you repay me?”
Rose wore a smug, gloating smile, clearly enjoying my pain.
My adoptive mother hesitated before speaking, her voice cold.
“Luka, well, Sebastian doesn’t like you anyway. Just let them be.”
In that moment, I was utterly disillusioned with my adoptive family.
I stood up, dazed, and forced a bitter smile.
“As long as Sebastian agrees to break the bond, I have no objections. Whoever wants to be Luna can take the role.”

With that, I turned and walked out of the place I had once called home.
When I returned to the Stone family home, I was surprised to find Sebastian already waiting for me.
He no longer needed assistance and was able to move on his own.
He stumbled toward me, handing me an envelope.
I opened it to find two signed bond–breaking agreements, a check, and a set of keys.
“Luka, sign it. The villa in the West District and two million are yours. Consider it compensation from me.”
