She went to attack me but was stopped by Leo.
“She has Ethan by her side! How are you going
to win?”
All the anger was coming out now, “You’re
supposed to be on my side! Why are you
stopping me?”
She thought that she and Leo were on the same
side, but Leo was ready to throw her away.
He only looked at Ethan, and had an idea.
Leo grabbed Amanda, and kneeled down,
“Boss, she was the one who told me to do it, if catch her for you, please forgive me.”
Amanda was thrashing around. “How dare you!
Leo! We signed a contract, you can’t betray
me!”
Her shouts were echoing around the parking lot.
The next thing I knew, we were back at the
castle.
She was shocked by the sudden scene change.
I looked down at her. “I had my fingernails
pulled out, my tongue was cut and so many
other injuries. Can you handle it?”
“Your eyes are quite nice, why don’t I take
them?”

She started to run but was grabbed by Leo.
She was screaming and begging.
Ethan slowly said, “Leo, you do it.”
Leo grabbed the knife, but couldn’t do it.
“If you do it, I might forgive you.”
“Or, do you want to die with her?”
The knife touched Amanda’s skin, making a red
line, blood was running down.
Amanda was crying, “Leo, I’m begging you.”
“I loved you, I really did, and I wanted to spend
the rest of my life with you.”
Leo paused, his face hardened.
When everyone thought that he had given up,

But, it was pointless.
He fell to the floor, and his insides were in the
wrong place, and blood was gushing out of him.
I turned to Amanda, “So, how about you?”
“Kill him, and I’ll forget everything.”
Amanda didn’t even hesitate and grabbed the
knife.
It looked like she was putting all her strength
into killing him.
The moment that she stuck it in his chest, the
castle disappeared, and we were back in the
parking lot.
It was dark and the only light was shining on
Amanda.

They were confused, but the knife was in Leo heart and blood was coming out.
Leo was in so much pain, it wasn’t what he
thought was going to happen.

But the pain, it was so terrible and he could feel

His soul was disappearing.
Just then the police sirens went off.
All four of us were sent to the police station for questioning.
After a few days, the horrible crimes had been

Leo was sent to the hospital but died soon
after.
The knife had been poisoned, and he had a
contract with Amanda, and because she shared
his powers, they were all destroyed.
And, it was that contract that had caused him
to be killed.
But, he had been said to have died from blood
loss.
Amanda was arrested, and sentenced to thirty
years in prison.
After all of this had finished, Ethan asked me,
“You could have made them go through more,

She had hurt me first, so I didn’t care about any
punishment.
The reason I didn’t want Ethan to do anything,
was because I couldn’t stand the thought of him being hurt.
I wanted to get my revenge.
Back at home, Ethan was holding me, and
looking at the evidence that Leo had been using to hurt people.
“Sara, that day was an accident, I couldn’t find
who was responsible.”
“Now, I promise you, the mistakes I made will
never happen again.”
Looking at him, my heart softened and the
divide between us disappeared.
My daughter was already calling him “dad.”

Ethan stroked her head and said, “You’re so
good, always protect mom!”
Six months later, Ethan asked me to marry him.
To make him happy, we had two weddings.

live in the castle, because our daughter needed to be with her friends.
We bought a huge house, and settled down.
A text interrupted my peace, it was saying that I had a package.
I hadn’t bought anything.
So I went and picked it up anyway.
I opened the package, and it had some writing on it.
“I curse you, to lose everything that you love, I
curse you…”

I didn’t bother reading it.
I ripped it up and threw it into the trash and just
then Ethan called for me, “Sara, what’s up?”
“What was in the package?”
I wasn’t bothered and said, “Just some rubbish,
I threw it away.”
He wasn’t bothered, and gave me an apple.
“I thought it was a gift for me.”
I laughed, “It was a curse letter, Amanda must
be going crazy in prison.”
Ethan’s face went dark, and he picked through
the package and checked that there was
nothing left in it.
“A curse? When you’re with me, you’ll have all
the luck.”
He burned the ripped–up paper to ashes.
My daughter came home from school, skipping
home.
“Mom and Dad, I’m home!”
Ethan picked her up, and made her laugh.
I kissed my daughter and felt happy.
The bad people were punished, and paid the
price.
And I have a loving family.
