Chapter 50 He Took Advantage of Her
Celeste had no idea how many times she cursed Mason in her head. What a scumbag!
Taking advantage of her while she was drugged!
Though she started off furious, Mason’s skills were undeniably good, and Celeste soon found herself turning that anger into enjoyment.
What else could she do? Might as well both enjoy it.
Jessica wasn’t wrong. At the very least, Mason was still a looker, well–endowed and skilled. She wasn’t really losing out.
But tonight, Mason seemed like a crazed beast. He wouldn’t stop, and every time, he’d ask her, “Is it good? Am I good?”
Celeste had wanted to be sarcastic, but every time she tried, Mason only got rougher.
By the end, she couldn’t even muster a word, just throwing her head back, letting him trail kiss after kiss down her neck.
When it was finally over, Celeste bit down hard on Mason’s neck to vent her frustration.
But what she didn’t realize was that, after everything Mason had put her through, she was too weak to really hurt him. Her bite was soft, like a kitten’s nip, and Mason barely noticed.
The next morning, Celeste woke up to find Mason already awake, still holding her, a satisfied smile on his lips. He looked annoyingly pleased.
That smug expression made her want to kick him off the bed.
But just as she raised her leg, Mason anticipated her move, grabbing her foot. “Quit messing around. Get ready, Grandma’s waiting for us to have breakfast.”
His voice was hoarse, and a red bite mark still stood out on his neck.
“Mason, I’m going to kill you!” Celeste snapped, lunging to strangle him.
But Mason just pulled her into his arms. “Still so fiery… Could it be that I didn’t satisfy you enough last night?”
“Shut up!”
Though she was cursing him, her face turned bright red.
“So, you were satisfied, huh? Don’t go spreading rumors about your husband again. If people believe you, they might really think I can’t satisfy you.”
“You’re shameless!” Celeste had never met someone so brazen.
“I can be even worse,” Mason said with a smirk, his hands already wandering again.
Celeste shoved him away and got out of bed to get dressed.
But as soon as her feet touched the ground, her legs gave out. She nearly collapsed.
Mason reacted quickly, catching her by the waist before she fell.
“Let go of me.” Celeste tensed at the strength of his arms, feeling uncomfortable with how sensitive her body still was.
Despite her reluctance, she had to admit that their bodies fit perfectly together. Mason had trained her well.
Clenching her teeth, Celeste cursed Mason in her mind. If only she hadn’t been so naive when she first met him.
It was the weekend, and both Celeste and Mason were staying home.
In front of Grandma, they had to act like the perfect loving couple. Celeste played her part, and Grandma seemed thrilled by the marks on both their necks.
Mason, on the other hand, took every opportunity to touch her, whether it was holding her hand, wrapping his arm around her waist, or brushing her hair.
During breakfast, Mason even placed food on her plate. “Eat more. You’re too skinny.”
To anyone watching, they’d think they were a blissful married couple.
Celeste had to admit, Mason was a good actor. He played his role so flawlessly that even she started to believe the illusion–that maybe, just maybe, Mason really loved her.
But all this had Grandma beaming. Seeing the two of them like this brought her immense joy.
“I’m so relieved to see you both so happy,” she said.
She had always worried Mason wasn’t treating Celeste well, but now, seeing them so in love, she was at ease.
Grandma always knew Celeste was a good girl. She believed Mason would fall for her eventually.
That afternoon, with nothing much to do, Celeste decided to look over some documents submitted by the X studio. They were planning to launch a new clothing line soon.
They always sent the files to Celeste, but she never checked.
Amy had asked Celeste to review them for any issues, so she borrowed Mason’s laptop.
At that moment, Grandma walked in behind her. “Celeste.”

“Grandma,” Celeste quickly set her work aside and smiled at her. “Are you bored, Grandma? How about I take you for a walk? We can relax in the
park nearby.”
“That sounds nice,” the old lady agreed.
Celeste shut the laptop and set it aside casually.
She changed her clothes and went out with Grandma to the nearby park.
Mason wasn’t into things like this. He had a video conference to attend, so he stayed behind.
Soon after, Mason went upstairs to his study to start working.
Meanwhile, Annie sneaked into the Carter residence. Though Mason had never brought her here, she knew exactly where he lived.
She also knew that Grandma was staying with them this weekend.
Annie was getting desperate. Mason still hadn’t divorced Celeste, and lately, his attitude toward her had been vague and distant. Annie couldn’t stand it any longer.
She came today to make her presence known to Grandma, hoping it would pressure Mason.
She was pregnant, after all. They wouldn’t dare do anything to her.
Knowing the security would stop her at the gate, Annie had bribed one of the maids to let her in.
But once inside, the butler stopped her.
“Who are you?”
“I’m a friend of Mason’s. I came to see him.”
The butler eyed her suspiciously. “And how did you get in?”
“I… Mason told me to come.”
The butler was skeptical. Would the young master really invite a woman over?
He replied, “Mr. Carter is busy. You can wait here.”
“Alright.” Annie sat on the sofa, noticing a laptop nearby.
It had to be Mason’s. Annie knew most of Mason’s passwords since they were based on his sister’s birthday.
She tried it, and sure enough, the laptop unlocked.
A smirk curled on her lips. She knew it! But what popped up on the screen surprised her–it was the confidential designs from X studio.
These were their upcoming fashion releases, valuable information!
Annie quickly copied everything. Grinning to herself, she thought, “Let’s see how Celeste handles this.”
As she transferred the files, she heard a voice behind her. “Annie, what are you doing?”
Annie quickly shut the laptop. “Mason, I was waiting for you, of course.”
“What are you doing here?” Mason didn’t pay much attention to her messing with the laptop. He was confident she couldn’t crack the password,
“I came to see you. I haven’t seen you in so long, and you barely reply to my messages,” Annie pouted.
Just then, there was a noise from the door. In a panic, Annie threw herself into Mason’s arms, wrapping her arms around his waist. They looked intimately close, and she said, “Mason, I’ve missed you so much.”
