“I just don’t know if you’ll live long enough to spend it.”
The old lady slapped her thigh in distress: “That person didn’t actually die. It was just my son who found someone to fake their death to trick the owner into selling the house to him at a low price. There couldn’t possibly be a ghost!”
“The owner was afraid it would blow up and he wouldn’t even be able to sell it for $50,000, so he hurriedly made a private deal and then left the country.”
So this house wasn’t actually haunted at all.
While I felt sorry for the original owner, I also understood why the female ghost wasn’t targeting other people in the house.
Because she had come specifically for Jack. She was a vengeful ghost that could pursue her enemy for thousands of miles.
To become a vengeful ghost, one must have had tremendous hatred in life, died with a corpse pressing down on them, and thought of nothing but the person they hated until death.
Once such a ghost appears, it will first kill the person it hates, and won’t rest until it’s done.

Just as I was thinking this ghost would be difficult to deal with, the female ghost voluntarily placed her hand on the Three Lives Mirror.
She let me see what happened before her death.
The girl had met a boyfriend online, and their daily interactions were very sweet.
The girl was coquettish, the boy handsome. It wasn’t long before they arranged to meet in person.
Little did she know that on her way to the happy meeting, her boyfriend had already put her up for sale in a group chat.
“Yijing Hotel”
“Starting price $500, self–pickup”
“DM if interested”
As soon as the girl’s photo was posted in the group, it became bustling with activity.
After intense bidding, someone finally bought the boyfriend’s WeChat account for $3,000.
“$3,000 for a pretty wife, what a bargain”
“Don’t worry, I’ve seen her on video call without makeup, she’s definitely a hottie”
Of course, the girl didn’t see her online boyfriend when she arrived.
When the girl realized she had been tricked, she turned to run.
The man wasn’t about to let her go so easily.
He had already drugged her drink when they met. Before the girl could escape the hotel, the drug took effect.
When the man went downstairs to catch her, the girl mistook him for her boyfriend and willingly went back home with him.
When the girl regained her senses and tried to escape, the man smeared scalding hot wax on the soles of her feet, saying, “If you can still run like this, then go ahead and run.”
After the girl painfully made it downstairs, the man caught her again. He perversely admired the patterns formed on the soles of her feet: “So
beautiful.”
Afterward, the man repeatedly applied the hallucinogenic drug to the girl’s skin.
This caused the girl to lose her mind, until her skin began to rot and peel off, and her eyes became almost blind, barely able to see.
After a month or two, the girl pretended to have lost the will to live and started obeying the man in everything.
The man also let his guard down.
