“Everyone else was indifferent, just watching her miscarry; it took ages to get her to the hospital.”
I trembled as I touched my abdomen. My child… I had just learned of his existence, and now he’s already… “I heard about the fire years ago when she left her elder sister behind and ran herself. Her sister was burned unrecognizable, couldn’t take it and jumped off…”
