The day I was discharged from the hospital, Liam came to pick me up, unusually cheerful, it felt as if everything had returned to the way it was when we first started dating.
Back then, when he confessed to me, he had gathered a crowd of people, all pressing around the entrance of the lecture building. Now, here we were again, surrounded by a crowd at the hospital entrance. But time had changed everything, and my feelings were no longer the same.

Liam’s face turned ashen, and in the rush of satisfaction from my revenge, my anger began to boil fervently before slowly simmering down.
Suddenly, I found the whole situation utterly pointless.
When I didn’t love him anymore, he was nothing but this–weak, insignificant.
He lunged at me in a fit of rage, trying to snatch my phone, but was stopped by the bodyguards that the reporter, Mr. Smith, had brought with him. Today, no one could prevent this scandal from blowing up online.

she managed to slap Liam so hard that he staggered, unable to regain his footing.
Liam then turned back to me, and from behind the crowd, he fell to his knees, weeping and begging me.
It had always been me on my knees, pleading with him in the past. I had never seen him reduced to such a humiliated state. It turned out that only when his own interests and reputation were at stake, did he show any emotion.
He didn’t love me. He didn’t love Chloe. He only loved himself.
When the video ended, everyone’s
expression changed instantly. I refreshed the live chat, and as expected, the public opinion was overwhelmingly against them.

After preparing for so many days, there was no way I would just post the video online and call it a day. The people who wronged me deserved to face the consequences.
Clove’s husband had already been found by my lawyer and was locked in a car with the reporter. Upon hearing the conversation from the video, he was so enraged that he nearly broke the car door with his fists.
His eyes were bloodshot, and without saying a word, he charged toward the crowd as soon as he got out of the car. He swung a heavy punch at Liam’s face, sending him stumbling. Liam, not one to back down, fought back, and the two quickly became entangled in a brutal scuffle.
