Unable to stand there and listen any longer. I stormed to my office. A clear head was what I needed right now.
I was torn to pieces that my mate would choose suffering over staying with me, I started to scowl when I remembered that I hadn’t given her any
reason to stay.
She was scared because 1 had held her father’s deeds over her head and made her feel like she was nothing, dispoulle.
I shook my head, suddenly disgusted with myself. My thoughts were distracted when the door opened and Millicent sauntered in.
Annoyance flated through me and I breathed it out. She propped her ass at the edge of my desk and peered at me through her lashes.
She thought she looked cuce but I knew she was trying so hard,
“How is she?” she asked.
I almost scoffed, “I have no idea, Marcel is with her,”
Millicent chuckled, “That beia of yours has gone soft. Does he want her? Is that why be is doing all of tha?”
I held in a growl, my chest vibrating with anger. Her words didn’t have that effect on me because I know Marcel has been loyal for years.
“Did you do it?” I asked
I needed to know the kind of person I had on my side was she loyal to me or to herself!
“So what if I did?” she returned my question.
Locked my head, “Why?”
“Is that a joke! You have barely paid any attention to me since she got here, it’s always one thing or the other with her.”
“You want me to torture you, is that it?”
She scoffed, “Is that what you want to call in Torture? You have a raging hard–on for her, you are not kidding anyone but yourself”

In a flash, I was in front of her. Her eyes widened when my hands wrapped around her throat and pushed her to the wall, she gasped for breath, almost morning purple bai Fifadn’t let go.
“Don’t you ever touch her, don’t look at her and don’t talk about her. This stubs you pulled. Millicent, it should never repeat itself, do you hear me?”
She nodded quickly and I les her go, she glared at me but commilled her tongu
I was on edge, feeling the sirge to lash out at whoever was responsible for this whole thing. That was me

Her eyes narrowed to slits, “I know, I am sorry but if you think that girl is innocent then you are wrong. She might be your mare but she is aware of everything her father did.”
She came closer to me and rested her arm on my shoulder. “Tam not stepping on your authority neither am I going against your orders but keeping her girl wouldn’t do you good. We are supposed to be married and she would derail our plans,”
I knew what her concems were, she was worried that now I had found my mate, her position for Lama would be threatened
“Leave the thinking to me. Millicent. Don’t go near her again, I shrugged off her hand and headed for the door.
“Where are you i going?”
I smiled at her, “Where do you think? To punish the idiots who did this.”
Her eyes watered like she understood. “Alpha.”
“Remember that you caused the death of two guards today, Millicent. Your selfishness caused this,” I shut the door in her face.
Traded straight to the dungeon to deal with the guard that had dared to lay his hands on my mate, possessiveness thrummed my body like ins playground
I had never felt like this to anyone, not even the woman I was supposed to marry. I have never been intimate with anyone because I was waiting for
my mate.
It is unfortunate that it’s my enemy’s daughter. Marrel’s words ran through my mind and but I kept walking.

The
guard who had slapped her stared up at me, “Alpha, I am so sorry. I didn’t know she was yours.”
1 folded my sleeves, “You didn’t know? So you can simply beat up a woman if she wasn’t mine!” I chuckled
He temed sensing that he has fucked up.

“What about you?” My gaze traveled to the one who kidnapped her and chased her through the forest. “What was your plan for her? Kill her? rape
her!”
He kept quiet but I could already smell the fear coming from him, he was trying to be stoe. To put up a brave front but making grown men cry has always been my specialty,
“You laid your filthy hands on what was mine, you took her from the bed. I am sure she tried to scream for help but you muted her, making her helpless and vulnerable. You played a game with my mate and caused her to injure herself” my voice grew colder with each word I spoke and his eyes widened.
The tension around his body tightened too till he was shivering, I smiled when I realized he had broken character

“Orders! I know. After I am done, you will remind me who exactly is the Alpha of his pack and who should be giving orders.” I told him.
He crawled to the bar, “Please, forgive me. Alpha, it won’t happen again.”

I turned to the guard, “Take them to the dark room,”

He and any prisoners paled chuckled, the name always has the effect on them like I want.
The dark room is my torture chamber, nobody has gone in there and come out alive. It’s a place I can always be myself and they know it too.
Having been my guards, they know second to nothing that goes on in there. The only person who knows about it is Marcel, he doesn’t stay with me during the sessions but he has an idea what I can turn into.
I would kill anyone who dares lay a hand on my mane
