Chapter 151
Sapphire POV
As I sat at my computer, trying to come up with a plan, I felt a sense of determination. I was going to stop Victor, no matter what it took. I was going to protect myself, and I was going to make sure that he didn’t hurt anyone else.
I sat at my desk, my mind racing with thoughts of Victor and his sudden appearance in my office. I knew that I had to talk to Aragon, to let him know what was going on.
I picked up my phone and dialed Aragon’s number, waiting anxiously for him to answer.
“Sapphire Aragon’s voice was deep and soothing, and I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
“Aragon.” I said. “Victor came to my office today.”
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and I knew that Aragon was processing the information.
“What did he want?” Aragon asked finally.
“He said he was a potential client,” I replied. “But I know that’s not true. He’s up to something, Aragon.”
“I know,” Aragon said. “But for now, we need to play it cool. Don’t do anything to make him angry, Sapphire.”
1 felt a surge of frustration. I didn’t want to play it cool. I wanted to confront Victor, to tell him to leave me alone.
“But why not?” I asked, feeling a sense of exasperation. “Why can’t we just confront him and tell him to leave us alone? I mean, kill him too. I am tired of being his object of fascination. It is sickening.”
“Because, Sapphire, Victor is not someone to be underestimated,” Aragon said. “He’s powerful and ruthless, and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. I do not want to endanger you by going after him without a plan.” I felt a chill run down my spine as Aragon spoke.
I knew that he was right and that Victor was a threat that needed to be taken seriously.
“So what do I do?” I asked, feeling a sense of helplessness.
“For now, just stay calm and carry on as usual,” Aragon said. “Don’t do anything to provoke Victor, and try to avoid him as much as possible.”
I nodded, even though Aragon couldn’t see me. I knew that I had to be careful and that I had to follow Aragon’s advice if I wanted to stay safe.
“Okay.” I said finally. “Ill be careful.”
“Good,” Aragon said. “Marcel and I are working on some things over at the pack house. We’ll get to the bottom of this, Sapphire.”
1 felt a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that Aragon and Marcel would do everything in their power to protect me and that they would stop at nothing to keep me safe.
“Thank you. Aragon,” I said, feeling a sense of gratitude.
“You’re welcome, Sapphire,” Aragon replied.
“Just remember to stay safe, and don’t do anything to provoke Victor.”
“I won’t, I promised.
As I hung up the phone, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. I knew that Victor was still out there, watching me and waiting for his chance to
strike.
But I also knew that I wasn’t alone. I had Aragon and Marcel on my side, and I knew that they would do everything in their power to protect me.
I trusted them to do that.
Over the next few days, I was on high alert. I knew that Victor could appear at any moment, and I was determined to be ready.
I worked closely with Clara, making sure that everything was running smoothly at the office also made sure to stay in close contact with Aragon, keeping him updated on any developments.
But despite my best efforts, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Victor was watching me, I would see him out of the corner of my eye, but whenever I turned to look, he would be gone.
I knew that I was just being paranoid, but I couldn’t help the feeling that Victor was closing in on me.
My body felt it. I was on an instant alert whenever I felt him close. My body would tremble on its own, my fists would be shaking in anticipation buy the last one, my heart would always beat ten times faster than normal.
One day, as I was walking out of the office, I saw Victor standing across the street. He was watching me, his eyes fixed intently on mine.
I felt a surge of fear, but I didn’t back down. Instead, I stood my ground, looking him straight in the eye.
Trying so hard to not let the fear show on my face, I didn’t need him to think that he scared me when all he did was provoke me.
following me around! What the hell is up with that?
For a moment, we just stared at each other, the tension between us palpable.
Then Vactor smiled, a cold, calculating smile.
“I be seeing you, Sapphire,‘ he said

And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving me feeling shaken and uneasy.
I knew that I had to tell Aragon about the encounter, and I quickly pulled out my phone to call him
He had already assured me but I just needed to hear it again. The words from his mouth were like the soothing balm that I needed right now.
He didn’t pick up so I called again.
As I waited for him to answer. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of fear. I knew that Victor was a threat, and I knew that I had to be careful
But I was determined to not let him get to me. I was going to stay strong, and I was going to fight back
But despite my feelings of relief, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Victor was still a threat. I knew that he was powerful and ruthless, and I knew that he wouldn’t hesitate to hurt me if it suited his purposes.
I tried to push the feeling aside, focusing on my work and trying to distract myself from the fear that was growing inside me.
But it was hard to concentrate, knowing that Victor was out there, watching me and waiting for his chance to strike.
