Chapter 152
Sapphire POV
As the day wore on, I found myself becoming more and more anxious. I knew that I had to stay calm, but it was hard to do when I felt like I was being watched all the time.
Just as I was starting to feel like I couldn’t take it anymore, my phone rang. It was Aragon.
“Sapphire, I’ve sent someone over to keep an eye on you,” he said. “His name is Luca, and he’ll be watching out for you.”
“Thanks, Aragon,” I said, feeling a sense of relief.
Just remember to stay safe, okay?” Aragon said.
“I will.” I promised.
As I hung up the phone, I felt a sense of gratitude towards Aragon. I knew that he would do everything in his power to protect me, and that made me
feel safer.
I looked around the office, wondering where Luca was. I didn’t see him anywhere, but I knew that he was there, watching out for me.

As I hung up the phone, I felt a sense of gratitude towards Aragon. I knew that he would do everything in his power to protect me, and that made me
feel safer.
I looked around the office, wondering where Luca was. I didn’t see him anywhere, but I knew that he was there, watching out for me.
As the day wore on, I started to feel a sense of calm wash over me. I knew that I was safe and that Luca was there to protect me.
But just as I was starting to relax, I saw Victor standing outside the office window. He was watching me, his eyes fixed intently on mine.
I felt a surge of fear, and I knew that I had to get out of there. I quickly grabbed my things and made a run for the door, hoping to escape Victor’s
notice.
But as I ran, I could feel Victor’s eyes on me, watching me and waiting for his chance to strike.
I ran as fast as I could, my heart pounding in my chest. I could feel Victor’s eyes on me, and I knew that he was following me.
I didn’t dare look back, fearing what I might see. Instead, I kept my eyes fixed on the road ahead, my feet pounding the pavement.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I saw a familiar face. Luca, the man Aragon had sent to protect me, was standing on the corner, watching me
with a concerned expression.
“Sapphire, what’s wrong?” he asked, as I ran up to him.
“Victor,” I gasped, trying to catch my breath. “He’s following me.”
Luca’s expression turned grim, and he quickly pulled out his phone. “I’ll call Aragon,” he said.
“We’ll get you to a safe place.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that I was safe with Luca and that Aragon would do everything in his power to protect me.
As we waited for Aragon to arrive. Luca kept a close eye on me, his eyes scanning the surrounding area for any sign of Victor.
I felt a sense of gratitude towards Luca, and towards Aragon for sending him to protect me. I knew that I was lucky to have such loyalty and
dedication.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Aragon arrived. He pulled up in his car, and Luca quickly ushered me inside.
“Get down,” Aragon said, as he pulled away from the curb. “We don’t know if Victor is still following us.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of fear wash over me. I knew that Victor was a ruthless and powerful man and that he would stop at nothing to get what he
wanted.
As we drove through the streets, I couldn’t help but wonder what Victor’s ultimate goal was. What did he want from me, and how far would he go to get it?
I knew that I had to be careful and that I had to trust in Aragon and Luca to protect me. But I also knew that I couldn’t hide forever, and that eventually I would have to face Victor head–on.
The thought sent a shiver down my spine, but I knew that I was ready. I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead and to fight for my freedom and my safety.
As we drove by the streets, I felt a sense of determination wash over me.
I was going to get through this and I was going to come out on top.
As we drove through the streets, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. I knew that Victor was still out there, watching me and waiting for his chance to strike. I glanced out the window, watching as the city gave way to the countryside.
The buildings became fewer and farther between, and the scenery changed from bustling streets to rolling hills and fields.

Aragon seemed to sense my unease, and he reached out to put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “We’ll get through this, Sapphire,” he said. “I promise.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Aragon. I knew that he would do everything in his power to protect me, and that made me feel safer. I looked over at him, watching as he drove. His eyes were fixed on the road ahead, his jaw set in a determined expression.
I couldn’t help but wonder where we were going. Aragon had said that he would take me to a safe place, but he hadn’t told me where that was. I looked over at him again, but he just smiled and shook his head.
“You’ll see,” he said. “Just trust me.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of trust wash over me. I knew that Aragon would never do anything to hurt me and that he only had my best interests at heart. I leaned back in my seat, watching as the scenery passed by outside the window.
As the hours passed, the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape. I watched as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. Maybe, just maybe, I would be able to get through this after all.
Finally, after what felt like hours, we turned up a long driveway and pulled up in front of a beautiful old mansion. I looked up at it in awe, feeling a sense of wonder wash over me. It was beautiful, with towering spires and grand stone walls.
