The Alpha is Throwing Ch 162

Chapter 162

Sapphire POV

I felt a surge of relief and joy, my heart soaring with excitement. Aragon had won, and he was safe. A wave of warmth washed over me, a sense of security I hadn’t felt in weeks. I rushed to his side, my hands reaching out to touch his arm, to feel the reassuring solidity of his presence

But as I looked at Victor, I saw something that made my blood run cold. His eyes, usually bright with cunning and ambition, were now dark with a hatred that burned like a raging inferno. His lips were pulled back in a snari, revealing teeth bared in a silent, menacing growl. He was a wounded animal, comered and desperate, and I knew that this was far from over

Victor would not go quietly into the night. He would not accept defeat, not without a fight. He would do everything in his power to destroy Aragon and our pack, to avenge his humiliation. I could see it in his eyes, the simmering rage that threatened to boil over, to consume him entirely

A wave of fear and anxiety washed over me, my heart racing with every beat. I thought about Aragon, about how much I loved him, about how much I needed him. He was my strength, my protector, my anchor in the storm. The thought of losing him, of never seeing him again, was unbearable. It was a pain that threatened to consume me, to leave me hollow and empty

I had to do something. I couldn’t just sit back and do nothing, not when the man I loved was in danger. I had to find a way to protect Aragon, to keep him safe from Victor’s wrath. But how? What could I possibly do against a man like him? He was powerful, ruthless, and driven by a thirst for revenge

My mind raced, searching for a solution, a way to turn the tide. I had to think, I had to act before it was too late. The fate of our pack, and the man I loved, rested on my shoulders

I took a deep breath and tried to think clearly. The air crackled with tension, the silence broken only by the rhythmic drip of water from a nearby fountain

Victor, a man whose ambition burned brighter than any sun, stood before me, a predator sizing up his prey. He was a formidable opponent, his power radiating like an aura of untamed energy, but Aragon, my loyal companion, stood beside me, his presence a reassuring anchor in the storm of fear that threatened to consume me

If anyone could stand against Victor, it was Aragon, a warrior whose courage was forged in the fires of countless battles

Yet, a gnawing unease twisted in my gut, a serpent coiling around my heart. I knew Victor’s reputation, as a man who walked the razor’s edge of morality, a master of manipulation, and a ruthless hunter who pursued his goals with unwavering determination

The whispers of his past deeds echoed in my mind, tales of betrayal and bloodshed, painting a picture of a man who would stop at nothing to achieve his aims

Aragon and Ryker, his steadfast lieutenant, approached me, their faces etched with concern, their eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation

We need to get out of here,Aragon said. Victor will not give up easily. He’ll hunt us down like a pack of wolves.”

I nodded, my heart pounding a frantic rhythm against my ribs, the fear I tried to suppress threatening to engulf me

We had to escape, and quickly, before Victor’s grip tightened further. But as we turned to leave, I caught a glimpse of Victor’s face, a mask of icy calm that belied the storm of emotions churning within him. His eyes, cold and calculating, met mine, and in that brief exchange, I saw the burning embers of hatred and anger, a fire that threatened to consume us all

And I knew, with a chilling certainty, that our escape was far from guaranteed. The game had just begun, and Victor was playing for keeps

As we navigated the streets, our eyes scanned the crowded sidewalks, searching for any sign of Marcel and Sophia. We had gotten separated during the fight, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease that had settled in my stomach

Aragon suddenly stopped, his eyes fixed on a nearby coffee shop. There,he said

I followed his gaze and saw Marcel and Sophia hiding out in the coffee shop. They were sitting in the back, trying to blend in with the other customers. I recognized the coffee shop as the same one where Aragon had first met Sophia

Ryker nodded, a look of relief on his face. Let’s go get them,he said

We quickly made our way into the coffee shop, scanning the area for any signs of Victor or his men. But the coffee shop seemed quiet, the only sound was the gentle hum of conversation and the hiss of the espresso machine

As we approached Marcel and Sophia, they looked up at us with a mixture of relief and fear. Thank God you’re okay,Sophia said

Marcel nodded, his eyes scanning the area. We got separated during the fight,he said, We didn’t know what to do.”

I didn’t know how fighting could drain someone because I have never had to fight with anyone but I knew staying here and talking won’t help us but I couldn’t say anything but just watch around

Aragon put a hand on Marcel’s shoulder. We’re going to get out of here,he said. We’re going to go back to Ryker’s place and call for more reinforcements.”

Ryker nodded, his face grim and determined. We can’t keep fighting Victor and his men alone,he said. We need more help. They just keep coming in the fifties….we can’t take them down by ourselves.”

I nodded in agreement, my mind racing with the implications. We were outnumbered, outgunned, and outmatched. We needed more help, and
