Now, seeing these two people standing together, the heart piercing pain hit Sophie, making her unable to breathe.
She clenched her hands into a fist, and her finger dug deep into her palms to prevent her emotions from being revealed.
They have a long life ahead of them, and they must most surely pay back what they owe!
Hurley’s eyes fell on Sophie, and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
While in his office, he received a call from the receptionist. The owner of the studio, who was about to partner with the clothing department, came over to discuss business, but Matilda was embarrassing her.
He also did not expect that the boss of this new partnership would be Sophie.
Hurley’s secretary, Chris James, was in charge of the partnership process, and he, Hurley, was only aware that a new designer was coming, but he did not expect it would be Sophie!
Sophie adjusted the sunglasses on the bridge of her nose and sneered. Mr Walton, your girlfriend is still here. Isn’t it impolite to stare at a stranger like this?”
“Also, regarding what happened yesterday, when will you apologise to me?” Sophie deliberately mentioned yesterday.
Sure enough, after hearing these words, Matilda lost her composure.
“What happened yesterday? Have you two already met each other? Hurley, why didn’t I know about this?” Matilda couldn’t help herself.
“Chris, bring Miss Hades to the conference room first.” Hurley’s voice was cold.
“I don’t agree!” Matilda stopped her.
Now, she was sure this woman must have deliberately come to the company to seduce Hurley.
“Can’t you see that this woman has ulterior motives? The designer can be anyone, but it won’t be this woman.”
“Matilda, don’t be ridiculous!” Hurley’s face was already a little flushed.
“I am not kidding. I’m afraid I have to disagree with Walton Group partnering with this woman. Otherwise, I won’t sign the endorsement for next season’s clothing!” Matilda threatened.
“I’ve monitored your clothing sales performance in the past five years. It is the worst among all departments in the company. I was still wondering what the reason was. Now it seems that the reason has been found.”
“Hurley, I remember that when I signed the contract, It said I had all the rights to control the clothing department, and I could make any condition at will.”

“Of course you can, Miss Hades.” Hurley lightly opened his thin lips.
This woman in front of him always gave him a sense of familiarity, but he was sure that he had never seen the newly found princess of the Hades family.
“Alright then, I want to change the ambassador. Mr Walton should have no problem with that, right?”
Hurley shook his head. “No, I don’t.”
It was just an ambassador. His company’s business was so extensive that he didn’t even know who the ambassador for the clothing department was.
Matilda’s face turned pale.
What had this woman done to Hurley?
Why did Hurley listen to her so much?
“Hurley, no, she’s Jessica Cussons’s friend. They’re jealous of me and deliberately targeting me. Hurley, can you
chase her away?” Matilda pulled Hurley’s ar
Hurley pulled out his hand and said, “Aren’t you supposed to be filming?”
Matilda begged him to help her win a role in the movie that she’s currently filming for. She also promised that she would film it well, but the crew had called him several times, all reporting that she was playing a hard chase.
“L…I missed you so much, so I came to see you.” Matilda pretended to be aggrieved.
Hurley didn’t look at her and said to the person beside him, “Take Miss Jacobson away and then take Miss Hades to the board room to discuss the partnership.”
