“No need, I won’t accept your apology.” After that, Sophie prepared to close the door.
“Wait a minute!” Matilda put her hand on the door frame. Sophie was sure that her door had not caught Matilda’s hand.
However, Matilda suddenly exclaimed, “Ah!”
When Stella saw this, she quickly went to check Matilda’s hand and then cursed at Sophie.
“How could you, a woman, be so cruel? How could you treat Matilda like this? Matilda did nothing wrong. Why did you use the door to clamp her hand!”
“I’m fine, Stella. Sophie didn’t mean to cause me pain,” Matilda looked like she was teasing.
“Sophie, we’re here to apologise from the bottom of our hearts. Stella is not sensible. Besides, she didn’t do anything wrong. Stella didn’t know that Mr Jordan was that kind of man. She just wanted to negotiate a partnership for the sake of the company. Stella also thought that since you had just joined the company, you should be allowed to express yourself.”
Matilda’s words could turn black into white and also implied that Sophie was ignorant.
Sophie listened to her coldly. Matilda’s acting skills were indeed far from zero.
Sophie’s gaze fell on Matilda’s cufflinks. There was something flickering there, which was hard to figure out.
Sophie looked away and shifted her gaze to Matilda’s face.
“So when your company seeks a partnership, you must sleep with the person in charge of the other company to win the contract?”
“I heard from Mr Jordan that Miss Matilda negotiated the previous partnership. Could Miss Matilda have slept with him many times before?”
“You are stupid!” Stella pointed at Sophie’s nose, “Why are you such a mean woman? How dare you be so wild!”
Matilda also looked aggrieved, “I don’t know how I offended you, Sophie, causing you to want to ruin my reputation like this. I am not that kind of person.”
“Stella and I are here to apologise. Why are you being so aggressive?“.
“Hey Sophie, your place is so lively today.” A voice suddenly spoke from the passageway, and Jessica came out of the
elevator.
When Matilda saw Jessica, her expression became even gloomier.
“Jessica!” Being best friends with Matilda, of course, Stella knew Jessica as well.

“You know me? I’m sorry, I don’t want to sign the photo.” Jessica walked to Sophie’s side.
Matilda saw this and said, “Sophie, Sophie, Jessica is a very good friend of mine. I know you have a good relationship with Jessica, so you hate me very much, but this has nothing to do with Stella. Please, don’t target her, okay?”
Matilda burst into tears, as if Sophie and Jessica were jointly bullying Stella.
Stella was moved. Matilda was really good. No one had ever been so supportive of her.
“Matilda, I haven’t seen you for a long time, so why don’t you two look in the mirror and analyse your worth?”
Jessica had always been a blunt person. She and Matilda are not on good terms, and the entire entertainment industry knows about it.
“Jessica, don’t be too harsh with your words. No wonder you can be friends with someone like Sophie; it is like a nest of snakes and mice!” Stella looked disgusted.
“Stella!” Matilda pulled her back and said, “Jessica, I have never felt that there was any conflict between us. I have always regarded you as a friend. Since you don’t like me, I will just stay away from you in the future.”
“Stella had come to apologise today. Since Sophie is making things difficult for us, no matter what Stella does, she won’t forgive her. So, we will leave now.”
