Sophie hooked up Jessica’s chin, “If I were a man, I would marry you, too!”
The two of them laughed and got into the car.
It was not until the car stopped in front of a bar that Sophie knew where Jessica had brought her.
“Jessica, you will be secretly photographed here, right?” Sophie was worried.
Jessica’s identity was well known. If her presence there gets leaked, it would be jumped on by the media, and they would milk it for weeks.
Jessica responded, “Don’t worry, Sophie, this bar was opened by someone in our circle. Big stars need to relax, too. Usually, many celebrities, directors and producers come here to hang out. It’s absolutely safe.”
She pulled Sophie, “Let’s go; I’ve arranged everything for you. There are a lot of handsome guys here tonight!”
The atmosphere that night was lively. Jessica was very popular and introduced a lot of good–looking guys to Sophie.
Unfortunately, the handsome guys could not elicit Sophie’s interest. Jessica joked when she saw Sophie’s lack of interest, “Are you keeping yourself for your potential fiancé?”
“Of course not!”
“Then come, let’s go drink and dance together!”
Sophie also felt that she should really relax, but Hurley had messed up her mood.
So she joined the dance floor, the lights flickered, and Sophie became the focus.
What Sophie didn’t know was that in a private room upstairs, Hurley was shaking red wine in his hands, and two friends were sitting beside him.
The three big men were really bored, which was a stark contrast to the atmosphere downstairs.
