While she was still abroad, Savvy‘ s frustration grew by the day. She had been calling Harvey and Nicolas in tears, desperate and feeling abandoned. The trip had become a nightmare, and all she wanted was her friends back at her side. But every time she reached out, her calls were met with irritation and vague
responses.
“Why haven’t you come back?” she demanded through sniffles during yet another call, her voice raw with frustration.
“Savvy, just… book a ticket home,” Harvey replied curtly. “There’s a lot going on here. We can’t come right now.”
The response stung, but Savvy held back her anger, her suspicion quickly settling on

Sabrina. Harvey and Nicolas were never like this. They had always been there for her. But Sabrina–Sabrina, who had that effortless charm, who always had a hold on both of them–wasn‘ t as innocent as everyone seemed to believe. Savvy had always sensed there was more beneath Sabrina‘ s perfect facade, and now, she was convinced Sabrina was behind their sudden change in behavior.
Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Savvy booked her flight back, anger and determination growing with every mile that brought her closer to the truth.
When Savvy arrived back home, Harvey was waiting at the arrivals gate. His face looked strained, and he barely met her gaze as he took her luggage. The ride was silent, filled with a tension she didn‘ t fully understand, but she sensed that Harvey’s mind was elsewhere. Once she was inside, Savvy looked around the unfamiliar space, her anger
simmering. She had returned hoping to be met with answers, but instead, she was left feeling even more in the dark. She set her luggage down, preparing to confront Harvey or Nicolas at the first chance she
got.
Later that evening, as Harvey stopped by to check in, Savvy’s suspicions were confirmed. She overheard him speaking on the phone in the hallway. Moving quietly, she pressed her ear to the door, catching his words.
“Yes, Mr. Adams… we‘ re worried. I know you said she’s with her mom, but she just left without saying a word. It doesn’t make sense.” Harvey‘ s voice was filled with tension. “If you hear anything, please, let us know. We just want to make sure she’s okay.”
Savvy felt a thrill run through her. So,

Sabrina had left without a word? She smirked to herself, her thoughts immediately calculating how she could use this. Sabrina, who always seemed so perfect, was starting to show cracks. Without wasting any time, Savvy pulled out her phone and went through her message history with Sabrina. One by one, she deleted every message she had ever sent. If Sabrina wanted to disappear, then Savvy would make sure that it felt like no one was waiting for her when she returned.
The next day, Savvy continued to watch Harvey and Nicolas carefully, noting their worried expressions and the tense looks they exchanged every time Sabrina‘ s name was mentioned. Although she couldn’t hear their private conversations, she caught enough to understand that Sabrina s disappearance had left them both deeply unsettled. They were trying to act as if everything was fine, but it was clear they felt betrayed.

apartment, she overheard Harvey and Nicolas talking about another friend–Bree. She could barely make out their
conversation, but it was clear Bree had told them something troubling. Harvey’s face looked pale as he turned to Nicolas.
“Bree said… she doesn’t think Sabrina’s ever coming back,” he whispered. “Maybe Sabrina left because… she didn’t want us to know her plans.
Nicolas frowned, the worry evident in his voice. “But why? Sabrina would‘ ve told us if something serious was going on. She s always been honest.”
Harvey sighed, looking more conflicted by the second. “I just don‘ t get it. Mr.
Adams said she’s with her mom, but
Bree’s convinced she isn’t coming back. None of this adds up.”
The words hung heavily in the air, and Savvy noticed the doubt flicker across their faces. She suppressed a smile. Sabrina, the one who always seemed so reliable and

trustworthy, was finally showing her true colors–or at least, that’s how Savvy
wanted them to see it.
As days passed, the tension between Harvey and Nicolas grew. Bree‘ s ominous words about Sabrina‘ s possible disappearance lingered in their minds, and neither could shake the feeling that something was off. Even though Sabrina‘ s grandfather had assured them she was just visiting her mother, Harvey and Nicolas began to question everything. The Sabrina they knew wouldn’t just vanish without a
trace.
One morning, Nicolas arrived at the apartment with an anxious look. “Harvey, I think… I think we need to go to the airport.”
Harvey looked up, confusion and worry etched into his face. “The airport? Why?”
“Bree mentioned that Sabrina might have been planning to leave for good. If she’s flying somewhere else, maybe we can catch

Harvey hesitated, the idea clearly unsettling him. But a determined look crossed his face. “You‘ re right. We need answers, and if Sabrina‘ s leaving without telling us… we deserve to know why.”
Savvy nearly showed the look of fear she felt. What if they actually found Sabrina? No, she gathered her thoughts. Sabrina obviously didn’t want to be found, there was no way they would find her.
Savvy’s heart raced with excitement as she watched them prepare to leave. She quickly offered to join them, feigning concern, though inside she was reveling in the chaos. If Sabrina had indeed left them behind, then she wanted to be there to see the heartbreak on Harvey and Nicolas‘ s faces.
She really wished Sabrina would disappear forever.
