Sabrina‘ s pov
“Sabrina… please don’t do this, I know you still have feelings for us.” Nicolas said.
Here they go again.
When I saw Harvey and Nicolas standing in front of me, something cold settled in my
chest. The warmth I once felt when I looked at them was gone, replaced by a quiet, icy detachment. They were no longer the men I had once known–no longer the people I had trusted with my heart.
Harvey’s eyes met mine, and I could see the hurt in them. “Why are you so cold, Sabrina?” he asked, his voice softer than usual, almost pleading. “We‘ ve been. through so much together. Why are you acting like this?”
I didn’t have time to indulge their regret. The past was just that–the past. I had

moved on, and it seemed they hadn’t caught up to that fact, I didn’t feel like wasting any more energy on trying to explain myself. “I’m busy,” I replied, my tone as neutral as I could muster, though inside, I could feel the anger bubbling up.
Nicolas, always the more persistent one, stepped forward. “Sabrina, listen. We didn’t want it to end like this. Everything we did, all the mess, it was… it was a mistake. We were trying to make you jealous. We wanted to see you lose control, so you‘ d care for us the way we cared for
you.”
I stared at them, blankly. Their words. didn’t even surprise me anymore. I had long suspected it. They hadn’t loved me. They had wanted to see me crumble, to
prove that I still belonged to them in some twisted way.
They were looking for the same
reassurance, the same adoration I had once

given them without question. And when they hadn’t gotten it, they made a mess of everything, dragging me into their game. But they didn’t get to play with me anymore. Not after everything they had done.
As they pleaded, I thought back on the times when things were different. When I was convinced that we were happy, when I thought I could count on them. The times we laughed together, the moments we shared, the times they promised to stand by me no matter what. And yet, it all turned out to be a lie. My heart had once been open to them–so open that I let myself believe they would never hurt me.
I had loved them. Or, at least, I thought I had. But looking back now, I could see where everything went wrong. The signs were all there, even if I refused to see
them. I had let them treat me with
disrespect, thinking they would change, thinking love was enough to fix it all. But they had never respected me. And they

never would.
Their actions, their betrayal, weren‘ I my fault. I had been too loyal to them, given them too much trust when they hadn’t earned it. My boundaries had been
crossed, again and again, and I had let it happen. That was my mistake–letting them believe I would stay no matter what. But their mistake? It was believing they could keep taking from me without consequence.
I snapped back to the present when they mentioned Savvy,
“She’s gone. We’ve made sure she won’t come back,” Nicolas said, a hint of relief in his voice. “We‘ ve dealt with everything. You don’t have to worry about her anymore.”
My blood ran cold at the mention of her name. I didn’t want to hear it, but I
couldn’t stop myself from asking, “What happened to her?”

Harvey hesitated, looking at Nicolas as if they weren’t sure how to explain. Finally, he spoke. “Savvy… She got what was coming to her. She’s not part of this anymore.”
The anger inside me flared, boiling over. I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself, but it wasn’t working. All I could think of was how Savvy had manipulated us all- how she had wormed her way into my life, feigning vulnerability, when all along, she was just using me to get what she wanted.
“Savvy s downfall isn‘ t enough,” I said, my voice cold, but every word was full of venom. “Do you understand? She
almost destroyed everything. She didn’t just tear my life apart–she tore apart everything my father worked for.
Everything my mother and I built together. And she killed my father. Her lies killed him.”
The words felt like a weight in my chest, but they needed to be said. They needed to

understand the depth of what Savvy had done. And they needed to understand that, as far as I was concerned, she deserved everything she got.
“I helped her,” I continued, my voice. rising with the anger I could no longer keep contained. “My father and I took her in. We gave her a roof over her head, We gave her a job because we knew what it was like to be young and alone, struggling. And she repaid us by betraying us all, by manipulating you two and destroying my father. And you,” I turned my gaze on them, my eyes like daggers, “you helped her. You let her tear me apart. You let her destroy me.”
Nicolas opened his mouth to argue, but I cut him off.
“You were so blinded by your own feelings, your own selfishness, that you didn’t see what she was doing. You didn’t care about the damage she was causing. You only cared about your own

egos. And you let her come between us. If you hadn‘ shown any interest in her, she wouldn’t have had the opportunity to tear
us apart
They both tried to defend themselves, but I could see through their excuses. It was too late for them. Their words meant nothing
Jayden, who had been standing silently by my side, finally spoke. He leaned in, his voice dripping with disdain. “You never cared about Sabrina. You never loved her. Savvy was just an excuse, wasn’t she? She was just a tool to you, to get a reaction, to make her care about you the way you
wanted. But she doesn‘ t care anymore, and neither should you.”
I felt a strange sense of satisfaction as 1 looked at them. For once, they were seeing the truth. They were the ones who had failed me. And now, I was standing with someone who would never fail me
someone who saw me for who I really was,

not as some game to be played.
I turned back to Harvey and Nicolas, my voice firm, resolute. “I never loved you. I never did. Maybe I thought I did once, but I was wrong. And now, if you want to be part of my life, you can come to my wedding. But if you’re not willing to accept that it’s over, then you should leave.”
Harvey’s face twisted with confusion, with pain, but also with the stubbornness I had always known him to have. “You don’t really think you can just forget about us, do you?” he asked, his voice tight. “You haven’t faced your true feelings.”
I looked at him, finally seeing him for what he really was a man too proud to accept his own shortcomings, too blind to see how much he had hurt me.
“I’ve faced my feelings,” I said, my voice unwavering. “And I’m done. I’ve moved on.”

But I should have known this still wasn’t enough for them to back down. “I can’t accept this, Brina,” Harvey said pointedly.
