Chapter 26
Floyd didn’t seem to care about Lumina’s wariness. He casually stepped into the studio, answering as he walked, “Mr. Saunders entrusted the wedding music to my company, so I came to ask the bride for her opinion.”
In truth, Floyd wasn‘ t entirely lying. Grant had indeed given the wedding music to a media company owned by the Stuart Family.
However, that media company was merely a subsidiary and no matter how large the business, it wouldn’t be the type of deal that would require the heir to the Saunders Family to personally discuss.
Though Rebecca was displeased by Floyd’s uninvited entry, she didn’t say much after hearing his explanation.
“I’d like the music to be light and fun. Honestly, I’m not very knowledgeable

about these things. Maybe you could talk to Grant about it.”
Grant.
Hearing such a familiar, affectionate way of referring to him made Floyd‘ s displeasure grow even more intense, nearly reaching the point where he couldn’t control it. He quickly turned his head, trying to hide it before Rebecca could notice.
As he turned, his eyes landed on the painting on the easel. The brushstrokes, the composition, the color choices- everything was painfully familiar to him.
It was the same way Lumina used to paint. Even more coincidental, the painting depicted a man.
Floyd almost instinctively thought of himself in Lumina’s painting.
“Did you… paint these?”
Rebecca nodded, but she increasingly felt that something in Floyd‘ s tone was off.

Floyd couldn’t help but step closer to the painting and his gaze was drawn to a small circle in the lower–left corner. He remembered–Lumina did the same thing. She would always draw a circle in the lower–left corner of every painting.
He had once curiously asked her about it.
Rebecca had said, “Because my alias is Moon. The circle represents the full moon. I don’t like writing my name at the
bottom of my paintings, so that circle is my personal signature.”
Floyd felt his breath catch in his chest. He pointed at the circle in the corner of the painting, struggling to keep his voice steady so as not to sound rude.
“What is that?”
Lumina glanced at the shape and replied calmly, “Oh, that’s my personal
signature.”
“Your what?”

Rebecca was surprised by Floyd’s loss of composure but patiently answered, “My name is Rebecca, my alias is Moon and the circle represents the full moon. I don‘ t like writing my name at the bottom of my paintings, so that circle is my personal signature.”
It was almost the exact same answer.
Floyd suddenly felt that the person in front of him was his Moony.
But that thought seemed too crazy and he couldn’t quite believe it, until he noticed. the paint marks on Lumina’s left–hand index finger.
“You… paint with your left hand?” This time, Floyd couldn’t hold back the tremor
in his voice.
Rebecca instinctively took a step back, her thumb tightly pressing against the side of her middle finger.
It was a subconscious gesture she often
made when nervous or scared.

Floyd noticed that too. From the moment. he saw the circle, his attention had been completely drawn to the woman in front of him. He couldn’t stop himself from
closely observing every small movement she made.
This little gesture was exactly like his
Lumina!
His voice nearly turned into a shout, “Tell me, do you also paint with your left hand?”
Rebecca was taken aback, frightened by his sudden outburst. She didn’t dare to answer and instinctively retreated to the door, ready to flee for help.
But she was a moment too slow.
Just as her hand touched the doorknob, Floyd grabbed her from behind and held her tightly.
