Gemma’s car pressed tightly against the man’s chest.

William, with his head lowered, kept stepping back until he laid behind a tree.
But perhaps he was still unwilling to back down, as he kept glancing over at the scene with wary eyes.
The giant snake was tossed near Derick.

Just as he finished speaking, the rumble of construction vehicles could be heard from outside.
