She covered him with a blanket before heading out.
To her surprise, Cassius was sitting on the sofa in the small living room, reading the newspaper.

Maybe it was because she was thinking about the album, but she felt a little awkward.

He was always so distant.
It made her wonder if he was just impossible to get along with.
Gemma tried to make conversation. “Mr. Smith said you were angry.

“Actually, are you here to check if I’ve been left with any psychological scars?”

“I just think, with your medical skills, if anything happens to you, it would be a loss for the medical field”
“Shawn still needs you to see him, and Noah needs regular check–ups. You shouldn’t be acting out.”
