I thought I had seen a lot in the last week or so since the EverMate Ball. But I was pleasantly surprised when six very grown men hopped up from their seats like they had Eres under their ass and started getting excited like five–year–olds in a candy store. I am pretty sure I saw Atticus and Alexander skipping down the hallway and Jupiter had offered to give me a piggyback ride and ran down the corridors with the other trailing behind, laughing with the biggest grins

He kissed me softly on the forehead and only when he backed up did I notice the others with the same relief and adoration. They each kissed me softly and all ran to different spots on the field, a lot of space between them.
I watched Alexander first. His eyes turned gold and they began to glow like the sun. Alexander rolled his head around slightly as his body began to espand rapidh. I wish there was more of a magical display with like smoke or fire but the transformation was so quick, I almost missed it when I had to blink. The only word to describe the massive beast before me is breathtaking.
Alexander’s body shifted seamlessly. A snout grew from his face and his hands turned into claws. A large growl left his muzzle that was full of sharp teeth and the molecules of his body exploded into a massive blue dragon with little green tips. From tip of his nose to his strong lizard–like tail he was ize of a four–bedroom house. He was easily two stories tall and his wings unfurled from his sides as he stretched them out and they were the length of a school bus: They were indescent and almost translucent webbing and had small spikes along the wings. He had large spikes about as big as going down his back from the based of his neck to the base of his tail and there was another wing at the tip of his tail that was like the worlds largest fan. His eyes were double the size of my head and each his feet had four sharp talons as long as my arm digging deep into the soil. He looked up sky and let out a roar that shook the ground like an earthquake. Blue and orange flames burst out his mouth and lit up the afternoon sky with

“Hello Theron, it’s so nice to finally meet you” I whispered and bowed my head slightly at him, showing him respect that he definitely deserved. I stayed rooted in my spot and feit the ground tremble under my feet as loud, harsh steps came towards me. I watched as Thezon bent his head, which was about the size of a small car, towards me and the tip of his snout touched my head. I could feel his hot breath enveloping my body but it did not

I moved hand under his chin and there was rough skin like you find on the belly of lizards. I gently tickled the scruff right at the base and I heard a loud urring that sent shivers down my spine.
I laughed as he pulled away and although I have no idea if Dragons can smile, I am pretty sure I saw Thezon grinning. He stepped asid

One by one, the dragons took control of the bodies of their counterparts, allowing me a moment to ogle and pet them. They each came let me pet them after I greeted each of them. Tristian’s beast Gerhart, Atticus‘ dragon Zion, and Octavius‘ dragon Eros were roughly the same size as Theon. The only real difference was the color of their scales. Gerhart was mostly green with streaks of blue, Zion was a shimmery silver and had burnt orange tips and Eros was bright orange and had ruby red tips. Their scales were all like crystals when you got up close and it was mesmerizing.
Jupiter’s dragon Ferron was gold in color but each scale had a border of obsidian black. He was larger especially in girth. He was about five feet taller and wider than the rest and his wings were noticeably larger than the others too. But Aragon, Lucien’s dragon, was the King of Beasts. He towered over all the other. I could say he was size of a three story, ten–bedroom mansion, and I probably would not be exaggerating, Goodne behemoth. They were not joking when they said Aragon was huge. His head alone was the size of a luxury eight person SUV.

He was almost pure gold but had tiny little red tips that made him look like dancing fire when he moved. When Aragon nuzzled me, I felt a special spark on my head and my vision became white. I blinked a few times before my vision came back to me and then I heard the most seductive, kw baritone voice

30–Dragon Time
Aragon is that you? I thought in my head.
Yes my dear, he responded.
How?
I connected our souls little one. Now you can speak to all of us. When you are marked, we will be able to talk even when we are in our human forms.
Wow, is all I could say. This is so freaking cool!

Did I just say that out loud? Or I mean in my head?
Yes replied Ferron, and heat rushed to my cheeks, making me all flush. Don’t ask me how I knew it was him, I just did.
Each of the dragons spoke in my head so I could hear them. Each one of them was unique but they were all seductive. If you ever watched the old movies, the closest I could describe their voices would be like variations of Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones. It was deep and commanding, but they were big teddy bears.
Would you like to go for a ride, little mate? Aragon asked.
“YES!” I shouted out loud and the ground shook with rumbles from the belly of the large beasts.
Aragon lowered his body fully on the ground and with the help of Zion, I climbed up the massive tree trunk legs and placed myself at the base of Aragon’s neck.
Hold the spike closest to your belly. Keep a firm grip. You will not be harmed; I promise little one.
I did as he said and then he pushed off the ground with enough force to hurl us straight into the air. His large wings began to flap steadily as we rose Into the clouds. I saw Ferron and Eros on either side of me as we continued to climb at an angle moving farther away from the palace. I was blissfully happy.
The dragons spread out as we cleared the forest and I could see in the distance as huge mountain range with snow covered peaks. Zion and Gerhart broke off from the lazy formation and started flying in circles and doing tricks, racing into the clouds above us at incredible speeds. Thezon soon joined them and I was just in awe and constantly giggling at their silliness. The wind on my face was cold but the heat from Aragon’s body underneath me kept me warm.
After a good twenty minutes or so we landed on the edge of the mountain top. There was a cutout in the mountain that allowed all the dragons to safely enter and there was even straw nests that lined the walls. I got off Aragon and looked out at the vast lands of the island. It was truly spellbound.
The next few hours while the sun was still in the sky I spent riding the dragons around the mountains. I got to spend time with each of them and talked to them like I talked with their human forms. Eventually, I snuggled into Eros‘ belly and he curled his body around me, radiating super warmth against the frigid air of the mountain as we all watched the sun set together.

They hugged and kissed me and we went back to the house and had a simple late dinner before all piling up in Octavius‘ room for the night.
Meanwhile we were all blissfully unaware of an evil, menacing shadow that watched us from the corner, patiently stalking his prey, waiting for his moment to come into the light.
