Olivia suppressed her grief, trying to stay calm.
“Nothing. I just wanted to say, since you think I stole Sophia’s boyfriend, why won’t you agree to the divorce?”
Hearing her say this, Ethan’s brows furrowed deeper.
“I said I forgive you. So-”
“I just want a divorce.” Olivia looked at him and repeated, “I just want a divorce.”
Those eyes now held only disappointment in their marriage.

“I just want a divorce.” Olivia looked at him and repeated, “I just want a divorce.”
Those eyes now held only disappointment in their marriage.
“Fine, divorce.” Ethan spoke through gritted teeth, “Olivia, don’t regret this.”
With that, Ethan slammed the door as he left.
Olivia curled up on the sofa, her fingers gently touching her belly.
That baby had only stayed there for three months.
She had already picked out a nickname – Susu, meaning “year after year“.
She hoped the baby would grow up safe and sound year after year.
The baby was very good and never made her nauseous.
The doctor said it was a sweet baby who cared for its mother.
Such a sweet baby.
Left her on the coldest winter night.
“It’s okay.” Olivia murmured, “Baby, wait a little longer. Mommy will be with you soon.”
Early the next morning, Ethan and Olivia went to the civil affairs office.
This was the first time he hadn’t stood her up.
Coming out afterwards, Olivia felt somewhat relieved.
Just 31 more days.
It would pass quickly.
Seeing her happy made Ethan unhappy. He was about to speak when his phone rang.
Olivia glanced at him: “Don’t forget to come get the certificate in 31 days.”
With that, Olivia left.
During the waiting period for the divorce, Ethan hardly came home.
Meanwhile, Olivia finished taking care of all her remaining affairs.
With 27 days left, she stopped updating the comic she had been working on.
It was a comic recording her relationship with Ethan.
Reality wasn’t as beautiful as in the comic.
Now that she was leaving, there was no need to draw these illusory things anymore.
Olivia closed her laptop and smiled as she looked at the sunlight outside.
With 17 days left, Olivia went shopping for summer clothes.
She bought many colors she didn’t usually wear, planning to change into a different one each day in Florida.
With 7 days left, Olivia did the last thing on her list.
She packed up all traces of herself in this home.

After finishing, she realized how few marks she had left in this house.
Olivia found their well–preserved wedding photo.
In the photo, she was smiling brightly, while her reflection in the mirror now was gaunt.
Ethan didn’t like her hanging up their wedding photo, so she never had.
Olivia threw it all in the trash.
Then she burned her favorite possessions.
These were offerings for her afterlife self.
