Chapter 7
The expressions of Alpha Anderson, Vivian, and Carol were truly priceless.
Vivian’s face twisted for a brief moment. “How is this possible? How did she become the successor Alpha of the Moon Eclipse Pack?! Isn’t she just someone’s mistress?”
Abraham’s face turned even darker. “Vivian, if you insult our esteemed Miss Viya again, the Moon Eclipse Pack will no longer welcome you!”
“It’s not like that! Please, listen to me-”
Abraham interrupted her. “Vivian, I am officially revoking your qualification to study at the Moon Eclipse Pack. From now on, you are not allowed to step foot here again!”

“Viya is the daughter that our Alpha Alex finally found after all these years. I won’t allow anyone to bully her!”
Abraham’s voice rang out loudly, and everyone around could hear it.
Alpha Anderson and the others were utterly embarrassed.
Vivian tried to say something, but Alpha Anderson quickly grabbed her. “Enough, stop talking!”
I looked at them coldly, then turned to address the other Pack members. “I’m sorry, but I’m not in the mood today. Let’s reschedule the meeting for tomorrow.”
I turned and walked away, barely hearing a faint call behind me.

“Morn, I’m sorry.”
I didn’t stop. After all, Carol had long since disowned me. His mother was someone
else.
The other Pack wolves who had witnessed the events today began murmuring.
“It’s all Alpha Anderson’s fault. We could have met with the successor Alpha today, but now it’ll be delayed until tomorrow. What a waste of our time.”
“I heard the successor Alpha was once Alpha Anderson’s mate.”
“On the bright side, this could work in our favor. Since Alpha Anderson has offended the successor Alpha, doesn’t that mean we have a better chance?”

Alpha Anderson’s face grew darker.
Meanwhile, Vivian continued to throw things around in the room, venting her frustration.
“Viya, that bitch, how could she possibly be Alpha Alex’s long–lost daughter? There’s definitely some misunderstanding here!”
Alpha Anderson grew increasingly frustrated. Vivian hadn’t been like this
before.
“Can you be quiet for once? Things have already reached this point, and you’re still making it worse. What if Viya refuses to cooperate with us because of all this?!”
Vivian’s voice was filled with accusation and blame. “What, now you’re blaming me? Are you regretting severing the bond with her

just because of her noble status?”
“I didn’t mean that.”
Vivian’s voice became sharper. “Then what do you mean?”
Alpha Anderson’s expression darkened further. “Forget it. I’ll go get some air.”
Vivian finally realized what was happening and quickly threw her arms around him. “Don’t go. Too much has happened today. I’m just scared you’ll leave me.”
Alpha Anderson slowly pulled Vivian’s arms away and stepped into the night.
