Alexander’s POV:
“Alicia?!”
Lucas and I both exclaimed simultaneously, our faces losing all color in an instant.

Unable to hold herself together any longer, my mother broke into tears. Her voice quivered with a mixture of sorrow and disbelief. “We never expected this… Alicia is our real daughter!”
My body jerked in shock, and the wine glass in my hand slipped from my fingers, crashing to the ground with a deafening shatter. The fragments scattered across the marble floor.
I stood frozen, my mind racing through the terrible things I had done to Alicia in the past. “What?… How could this be happening… Alicia. How could it be her?”
It felt like a punishment from the Moon Goddess. The image of Alicia’s empty expression and the burn scar on her arm that used to be a birthmark kept haunting my thoughts.
The pain in my chest was unbearable. That rabbit–shaped birthmark. How did we miss it?”
I asked Scott, my voice desperate, “Didn’t you feel something? She’s been right here all along.”
Scott let out a heavy sigh. “She cut ties with us a long time ago.
Evelyn, who had been standing beside me; spoke, her voice trembling with disbelief, “Alicia? How could she be …
I spun around, urgency sharp in my voice as I looked at Lucas and then at my parents. “We need to go back! We have to find her and

Lucas nodded quickly, impatience creeping into his tone: “Yes, we need to go back!”
We hurried out of the event hall and piled into the cars, racing back to the Obsidian Pack’s castle.
The drive was eerily quiet, the air thick with tension and uncertainty.
Once we arrived at the castle, Lucas and I made a beeline for Alicia’s room.
But when we opened the door, the room was empty. Not a single item was left behind.
She was gone.
On the desk, however) was a single piece of paper.
I rushed over and grabbed it, my eyes scanning the contents. My heart nearly stopped when I read the title, “Paternity Test.”
Lucas’s hands trembled as he took the paper from me, his voice shaky. “Sh–she must have known all along…”
It felt as though a silver sword had pierced my heart. The memories of all the pain I had caused Alicia flooded back, each one sharper than the last.
The anguish was unbearable, threatening to consume me.
“Scott, what have I done to her?!” My emotions spiraled out of control. I almost wished Scott could take over, just to stop the torment.
“Alicia’s my sister. She’s my sister, and all this time… everything I’ve done to her…”
Inwasn’t just me–Lucas had hurt her too.
“My destined mate has been here all along, and I couldn’t see it… I should have recognized her!”
My parents gasped in shock, nearly collapsing under the weight of the revelation.

Any hope we might have had left was completely shattered.
The paternity test on the desk destroyed every illusion we had.

Alicia was my biological sister, the daughter my parents had been searching for all these years, the one they valued above all else. She had been right in front of us, yet we had failed to notice. We hadn’t sensed her presence at all.
My mind went blank, and I was consumed by a single thought.
We needtofindher. We havetofindher…
I turned urgently to Lucas, my desperation clear. “Yes, we have to find her! No matter what, we must find her!”
Lucas nodded, his voice frantic. Tll track her movements. She can’t have gone fart”
At that moment, Evelyn walked slowly into the room.
“You don’t need to keep looking. She’s already gone
“What?!” I spun toward her, disbelief flooding my voice. “How do you know?”
Evelyn lowered her head, her voice laced with guilt. “I… I overheard her talking to Victoria. She took 100 million from her and disappeared somewhere no one will ever find her.”
